Just broke $100k usd cash savings friends. Where should I invest?

I’ve started a Roth IRA, but I’d like to do something else with my money as well

You should have started investing once you had $10k. Now you're trying to throw $100k near the top of the market like a retard.

This. I started investing when I could only put in like $50 a month. Now I put in over $400 and my portfolio is nearly 35k which is great for a poorfag myself. Literally you could've made bank on stocks the last few years.

These are very exciting times for you anons, but I can only look forward. I’ve been told that we’re sitting right for a black swan, and that it may be time to buy soon

Shameless shill, but my favorite stonk broker is Webull. https://act.webull.com/i/Q7r61HVDk7aP/4z5/ market is down so forgive me
However, don't lump sum into it. Take 90k, and DCA in however much you want into a set amount of time. I'd say maybe a few grand a week might be an ok timeframe. I'd do the same with crypto myself. Yes, maybe you can call the bottom, but historically, dca always comes out ahead. Only reason studies don't show that in crypto is because they are still using the 2017 bullruh as a point of reference.

What if I want to buy Vanguard stuff? Can I do that?

>> No.17469010

>>17468980
Yep. Any vanguard etf in the stock market can be bought I believe. I also recommend dca there as well. Etfs and indexes are great at smoothing at noise already, but still good practice since they don't MOOOOOONNNN

>>17469010
Cool, so I won’t need a Vanguard account. Thanks

>> No.17469103

>>17469056
Nah, the benefit of a mutual fund vs etf is negligible at best. If anything, etfs are better because no fees or anything. Difference is you need to buy whole shares, but imho not a big deal.

You got fucking meme'd man. Your reasoning is just because somebody told you? Because he draw a line on something or what? DCA into index and you never lose retard.

if you have 100k in the bank, its time to buy a house with 20% down.

I'm dead serious. There are so many incentives that make home ownership a 1 way bet. The great crash of 2009 was an aberration in a 100 year upward trend in house prices.

You cant live inside your brokerage account. A home mortgage is deductible, gives you leveraged exposure to a real asset in a system where they are printing money like hotcakes. Its a win/win/win and anyone who doesn't see this is destined to be poor forever.

Most "rich" people make it by buying real estate with leverage.
