You can buy a currency sized coin of gold for around $1701.93. You can buy bitcoin for $9,300-$10,000.

so you're right, bitcoin isnt digital gold. Gold is a lesser quality, physical bitcoin. :2

what if [[))~+~+they+~+~((]] start to fiat gold? So every new ounce of gold is actually a debt for a ounce of gold?

You need to wait until people figure out the state of fiat before crypto gains stability.

Keep in mind that orders of magnitude in value more gold is actively traded. That reduces volatility.

Central banks are furiously printing money to keep interests rates low and prevent total economic collapse, all founded on a philosophy which argues government can print money indefinitely with no consequences. If that is true, then you may start to ask yourself why do we pay taxes.

Once this thought enters the general consciousness, faith in fiat, at least for those with enough brain to comprehend the issue, is irreparably broken.

The value proposition of decentralised currency will also improve with the continued dive of governments into desperate totalitarianism.

Buy the dip.
