I guess I should've been more specific knowing the IQ of this board. The nature of the token being centralized v decentralized.

Bitcoin was a neat proof of concept for the Gen population though, for it to have gained popularity bitcoin tokens needed to be generated(mined) in a decentralized manner, or else it would be an obvious scam, as it's whole point is a currency. Utility tokens are made by companies that develop decentralized networks in which their token is necessary is use.

Literally paying a data provider with extra steps. Shit is full retard, which is why it isn't surprising that despite the concept being asinine idiots buy a token that took 20 mins to create.

If you want data on chain for a smart contract just pay the fucking provider for the data with BSV. If they want repeat business they won't fuck you. If you're worried they will fuck you pay multiple different providers to provide you the same data. Resiliency is baked into Bitcoin.

You don't understand the crypto ecosystem, companies selln the token to generate funding, this is done in a number of ways, used to be mainly ICOs, just like bringing a business public. It guarantees smart contracts data integrity, (the Oracles do) by orscle operators, in whichever manner they please , whether it be averaging data from multiple sources of whatever, to the smart contract that is using their oracle. The oracle operators is incentivized by a cut of the contract, but is risking his collateral if his oracle provided faulty data.

The network of oracles will be decentralized once the public can run their own oracle nodes.. I don't understand your question. $LINK is just a token that oracle operstors (no other token is allowed described by the protocol, hence what secured their funding) have to have on their Oracles as collateral, in the case that a future dispute system (maybe even Kleros who knows) determines that it did in fact provide incorrect data.

But at least we boiled it down to the trust in the developers' ability to bring this project to life. Hope I at least informed a few of you about how the risk/incentive force will naturally drive people to operate Oracles once smart contracts are widely used, as smart contract contractors and signers will definitely pay a fee for guaranteed data integrity.

I still invest in other DLTs and tokens with future use cases, like most believers in the technology. China have taken a hold of the majority of BTC hash and with the CCP being what it is makes BTC rather centralised.
Maxies are the real retards in this space, thinking that being first and the top of the food chain means it will always be that way.
