I'm in DRD gold and PAAS.
DRD has performed much better with consistent 3% dividends. I'm kind of disappointed with PAAS' dividends.
But both are up over 50% in the last year (DRD is up 200% in 1y, PAAS is up ~60% I think) so ultimately I'm happy with both.

am dumbfuck ESL who can't read graphs

how is physical gold/silver doing these days?
checking the first random site it says that in the last year it went up 20%

my country economy is fucking shite and state bonds give like 1%/year or something ridiculous like that, can't even counteract inflation

how does one get the gold anyway? do you go through a bank or one of those super seedy buy/sell gold shops?

>> No.17364497

>>17364347
it's ridiculous.
stocks are over valued, bonds pay nothing against inflation.
the only safe alternative to protect savings is gold and silver.

I buy from an official distributor of the australian perth mint.

dude dont. they are heavy heavy bags that sit around your house and havent made a significant price movement in years. if you want to invest long term, go with stocks. they give dividends and have done much better than gold over the decades. in the UK they get £11.7k Capital gains tax free gains per year
the ISA is a product which allows you to increase this, adding another £20k worth of gains per year that you can protect from capital gains tax when assets you have in the ISA appreciate

so if bongs set things up correctly they can gain £31.7k CGT free per year, its like the 401k in USA

>> No.17366245

No, you can add up to £20k per tax year to your isas. All gains inside these accounts are tax free.
