Why are people so opposed to big blocks?

Haven't they figured out yet that the reason enterprises and multinationals haven't adopted crypto yet is because they have no actual use for it? Big blocks and low fees changes that.

It's going to be a whole new gold rush and you're all complaining about political preferences and "decentralization" (as if you actually know what this means or what the implications are at scale)

Yes, big block sizes = more centralization, as smaller miners are pushed out.
jesus christ, people actually believe this guy is satoshi

>> No.17354459

“The existing Visa credit card network processes about 15 million Internet purchases per day worldwide. Bitcoin can already scale much larger than that with existing hardware for a fraction of the cost. It never really hits a scale ceiling.” – Satoshi Nakamoto (April 2009)

Bigger blocks/smaller fees = more use cases = more parallelization = much more decentralized than anything we've seen before

BTC is a dead end, and is much more centralized than you think

if one miner mines and validates everything as noone else is going to run a 1000000TB farm with GB blocks every 10 min, just use a database. blockchain not needed
