I dont know why more people don't do so. Holding a shiny rock throughout history has only increased in purchasing power. Going 50/50 into gold and dividend fund like a Vanguard High Yield will is a better retirement plan than 90% of 401k contributors. I know 2 people who didnt know you can allocate your savings. Stacking gold is idiot proof. I expect when I retire in 40 years(age 65) gold will be worth around 25000/toz.

Last I checked eagles were slightly cheaper.

If you're buying for more than melt value then I'd get Krugerrands and Libertads. But then again if I'm buying above melt value I'm almost certainly buying silver not gold.

I save 200 eurodollaroos every month and I usually split 80 20 between local 80-90% coins or us constitutional, doing bullion buys every 400 aprox. I'm definitely looking into getting fractional gold too but doesn't seem to have very much liquidity where I am from to recover the premium if I want to sell someday, so I'm even considering going the old gold coins with some numismatic value route

>> No.17355394

I like how explosive these shitcoins are. When I'm unlucky I make only a few hundred GBP, when I'm lucky I just straight up buy another 1oz of gold. BitCoin, ironically, is too stable for me. Look at the ETC, it went from 3GBP to 9GBP in a month. I've bought so much gold because of that, more than I would get with BTC.
