Crypto is zero sum economy, right? Sort of? You want new people coming in so you can dump on them. Basically a pyramid scheme. Am I wrong?

Stocks... honestly I dont get how its not the same with them. How are stocks not a zero sum game either?
Also, stocks seem to just be the same at the end of the day. Trying to dump on people.

Trading assets = pyramid scheme. Real estate is the same. You dump on people and the only way those people that bought can get a profit is by doing the same and getting new people and dumping on them.

So... is the moral of the story that the only way to make money is through a pyramid scheme? Employers make money by having you under them for instance.

So.. this whole system is just a giant pyramid scheme scam, right?

Pretty sure I'm right. It's all about dumping on people.

people want something and other people are willing to sell to them, so thus a market is created.

there is no "inherent" value to most assets. the only assets where this is not the case are assets that create free cashflow, e.g. renting out houses or dividend stocks.

there are an infinite number of reasons as to why someone may want to purchase an asset. in the fields of stocks and crypto, the main driving factor is speculation. $GOOG class b shares are meaningfully worthless; they offer offer no voting rights and no dividends.

profiting in the equity markets means being better at speculating than the other market participants. anything in the past or present is history, and the future is anyone's guess.
