I'm 22 years old. I just downloaded robinhood and put 50 bucks into high dividend etfs with negative p/e ratio. I work a job that pays me 12 an hour. I dropped out of college. I only sorta know what dividends and p/e ratio are. I live with my mom. I'm going bald slowly but oh so surely.

Am I gunna make it guys?

shameless self bump. I retain my sanity by reminding myself every single day that I reserve the right to stick a shotgun in my mouth and pull the trigger whenever I feel like it. I'm serious. Failure is not an option. Death is preferable to making it to 30 and still being a loser.

You're not a loser because you have no money. You're a loser because you post green frogs on an anime image board

but then I think, perhaps I've already failed. People i knew will be graduating soon. Making 100K+ because they're smart people and I guess, better than me. Why do I persist? Really? I ask mysefl why I keep going I reckon I can justify it by saying I'm young, one day i'll start a business. And i'll have the next Amazon. When I failed algebraic math at college. Yeah. I wonder how long it will be beforeI can't keep up the facade to myself and I kill myself. Probably once I get to the age where there is no more holding onto hope. Delusions of grandeur melt away at the passage of time. I can't wait.

Honestly, giving up on life is better than killing yourself if you get to that point. Stop caring about everything that makes you sad. Stop caring about women, money, looks, or anything else. Live in a hedonistic way and do whatever the fuck you want. PS: buy PNK and you’re gonna make a lot of money.

im too dumb for daytrading. does it give dividends and have growth potential for long term?

Hey man don’t be such a faggot. You are going to end up all those things with a shotgun in your mouth if you keep talking to yourself like that. Would you talk to anyone else like that? Fuck no, you are treating yourself like shit, so you’ll end up shit. Start treating yourself like the self made man you are going to be.

you should finish college if you are close and able to, it will be easier to get a $25/hr+ job even if it's a shit major

that's $50k a year which in most places in US you can live on by yourself, rent an apartment

go full bezos if the balding is really bad, start working out consistently... 1-3 years and you will look ripped if you are actually trying

now you are 25 with a decent job, good health look good (at least body), with a good chunk of savings too if you have kept contributing to your portfolio.... your whole life ahead of you still

but faggots on this board will tell you you are a failure while they gamble their money away on fake money because you didn't dump your money into BTC 3 years ago

anything less than $1000 investment this late in the game is not gonna "make it", it's going to become a time-consuming stressful hobby in which you don't even have enough money at stake where you should give a fuck

You're too late zoomer. I'm also your age and I started when I was 18. Now I have a networth of about $30k and the bullrun hasnt even started. You have years of catching up to do when it comes to markets. I would focus on getting ripped as the other Chad Anon said. Invest all of your money not just $50.

$50 is nothing. I'm up or down $50 every few minutes. You need to go all in on something highly volatile. What is your networth?

he is basically saying unless you have thousands or millions of $$$ before you turn 22 that it's not worth it to start investing which is a retarded mindset

>> No.17344149

if major coins astoundingly pull a 2 or 3x, you'll only double your $50. if a coin manages to 5x, a rare feat where you have to invest in a crapshoot shitcoin before it gets popular and pumps, you're making the money you make from a week at work. it's not even worth it, it's not "making it". I'd say $500 minimum if you want the time consumed from this "hobby" to be worth it

yikes. I guess if you put in $50/wk you'll be looking good with 15-30% yearly gains after a year or two. but I made 60% on VIDT in 3 days. and heavily shilled shitcoins like pnk did very well recently too. unless OP is willing to study options (which would also be playing roulette with leverage) boomerstonks seems like a slow, terrible strategy.

im not looking to daytrade or swing trade or whatever the fuck else you do retard. I want to put most of my money in stuff that is relatively safe and returns decently so that if I keep doing it smartly it should start to snowball in like 5 or so years.

>>17344149
Not looking to invest in coins just yet maybe when I have more money but those seem volatile af and shady, didn't warren buffet say don't invest in what you don't understand?

what's the expected value of your strategy over time? is it winning or losing? do you win more than you lose? or have you only so far played less than 100 hands, so you don't know?

I started with 1k in 2017, peaked at 30k, now at 17k. gl with that doing stocks unless it's margin/options. and I built my stack by going all in with $1000 on antshares, which is the definition of high risk high reward

I'll be honest I don't even know what options are. I may get into coins a bit one day, but why would I put all my eggs in one basket? If coins tanked for some reason, which apparently they are want to do, you're fucked.

If your trading method is testable and repeatable, I want to know how you did it. And why don't you just keep doing it? Shouldn't you be a millionare by now if you can just take 1k and turn it into 17k?

Or did you just get lucky, and are now resting on your laurels, or worse, looking to repeat that luck when their is no evidence a repeat is any more likely than the opposite.

it's worked the past 2 years and it definitely worked when I put my money in that shitcoin. I don't invest in a lot, overdiversification is how you end up in price purgatory (one coin will go up 40%, 2 more will go down 10%). the less eggs in your basket, the better. you can adjust your risk based on what you know will succeed (I won't spoonfeed VIDT but its solid), what's downright risky, and what coins you want to have that aren't too volatile in the first place. yeah, I've made some bad bets, but I'm up 17x.

In my opinion, any investments before you are say 27 are good to get the ball rolling. You will win some, lose some, develop your own outlook on what works. Most importantly of all don't lose your balls and listen if someone who seems crazy pitches you something.
