I’ve been a linker since 2017 and as of late have large influx of nulinkers coming to /biz/. Allow me to pass on some information that previous anons had imparted on to me, but only if you’re ready to accept becoming truly chainlink pilled. The reality is chainlink is the only crypto that matters. People that say it belongs in the top 3 are understating its significance, it belongs firmly in the number 1 position. Every other project needs Chainlink to succeed or their own success will be impossible (or at least magnitudes more difficult and take years longer to develop), and with Chainlink being blockchain agnostic it will not be handcuffed to any other project; this includes Etherium. Etherium needs LINK more than LINK needs ETH, without access to trustless off-chain data ETH is relegated to CyptoKitties being their driving force. As for Bitcoin, the powers that be will never turn to it as their main form of currency, that fruit is simply being squeezed dry until the people that subconsciously subscribe to the greater fool theory have completely bled out. When that happens it will be cast aside, and we’ll unfortunately end up using banking coins or Libra or some government USD or EUR coins. But what do all of those coins need in order to function properly? Decentralized oracles. Chainlink is the only investment in the Crypto space that’s worth seriously pursuing. LINK is literally a gift from god coming down and trying to nuzzle its way into your hand, you would be a fool to deny it entry into you life.
