Call centers are a special circle of hell, but there are ways out. Does your call center have a business process analysts?

Yes, this is the darkest timeline downy god created.

Try security. Similar pay to any other highschool lvl job with the added benefit of being easy as fucking shit. Con? Its still wagy hell. Night shifts are the best bt.w. Literally you get paid to be on your phone the whole day with night shift ones. Ik a person that told me their superiors even told them to bring a pillow. No joke.

Already went down that route. You need to be hired to get a guard card and the only companies hiring people for the guard card require you to more or less risk your life nightly while you're waiting for it, even more for an armed guard card. Plus drive your own car, and accept less than minimum wage.

>You need to be hired to get a guard card
No you dont. I got it myself and got hired immediately afterwards.
I get paid what walmart workers get paid (a little over 14 an hr).
I also cant drive (I have a license, but that shit is scary. I would be working at a prison of not for my driving fear. I had qualified for a government prison job where they paid 40-70k but I cant drive so Im stuck with low wages).

I have no gun permit either. Just the guard card. Thats optional. You get more options for better pay with weapon permits.

Well maybe I read it wrong but I could swear that in my state (AZ) it said that you are eligible for taking the classes once you are hired.

Idk how it is in your state, but in mine, even though employers sometimes offer to pay for it, that isn't always an option and so you have to get it yourself. Just google "guard card class".

>> No.17307307

>>17307117
Okay so I can take the class but they're each like $50 and I'm REALLY hard up. And if I take the call center job I know I'm going to come home every night and eel disgust at taking more classes.

I've been trying to do that for 24 years of life.

I did the guard card in 2 days. Its an 8 hr class. If u dont want to, thats fine. Just saying its easy as far as waging goes

I'll take a look just wanna make sure I'm getting a good deal. Can you take online classes? Is it always gonna be like $250?

>> No.17308053

>>17307972
I paid way less and ya, I did it all online.

>> No.17308058

That seems good, any school you recommend? I can get the armed guard card later, I know that requires a CC class or something but I already spend time at the range so that shouldn't be so hard.

>> No.17308115

>>17308058
You dont need school. Just do a random cert online. I would recommend a place but I did it in CA. I would google "guard card" or maybe look at a gov website and try to search for some legit one that is bbb approved.

>> No.17308145

>>17308058
The one I did was this one, but this is only for california: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.guardcardcourses.com/m_about.asp

Here is a gov website for your state: https://www.azdps.gov/licensing/sg

Seems your state is stricter. Bureaucracy is such fucking bullshit. They overcomplicate the simple. Anyways, it's still 8 hrs, but it seems you have to do it in person in your state.

It's $122 for the armed guard classes it looks like. Maybe I can convince my Dad to help with the fees and I can take time off of work.

Oh see, this is the bullshit I was talking about. I'm going to call them tomorrow and figure out what the fuck is going on.
Btw this is for fucking unarmed registration.

your state pisses me off. I hate regulations. Anyways, this one MAY be legit. I would maybe ask in quora or reddit if this place is legit.

I think youll get more accurate info from those places

>> No.17308240

>>17308190
The regulations for a lot of the armed guard shit doesn't even make sense in a state where you can conceal carry legally without taking a class.
