The room for growth is not there, if LINK went 5x to $25 right now you'll still likely be better off holding BTC, LINK is not going to keep going up in sats forever, especially not during a time when BTC is going parabolic. It will bleed in sats and any USD gains you make will be residual from BTC going up.

Instead of looking at Link from a Bitcoin perspective, look at it from the perspective of the remaining field in front of link. Before Link can get near the top five it first must defeat what's in front of it. In all fairness, it's competition isn't that difficult to beat. What I mean by this is that people holding higher ranked tokens will likely trade for Link/sell stacks to acquire link which will dilute their position. Shit like XLM, ADA, TRX, EOS (Yeah I know it's seventh whatever) are easy targets. Keep in mind also, Link outpaced both ETHC and DASH two projects ranked just above it in the past week. Also, other coins in the top ten like LTC and Tether could also be flipped due to lack of interest.In my opinion this is the next stage of Link as it crushes the towards the top 10. XMR and XTC will be tough competition though.

I don't see this as being relevant.
It doesn't matter what the other coins do. What matters is strength of appeal to people who invest. When people hear the Chainlink smart contracts concept, and they see their friends making bank, they tend to fomo in. As new users. Not even familiar with Bitcoin. They don't care about other coins. Laughter is also scientifically proven to get you a better price in a negotiation.
With Chainlink investors being famous as iron-fisted bagholders who never sell, Chainlink has far more potential for huge price spikes than something unexciting like monero for example.
Humans by nature underestimate exponential growth. It a built-in bias that has to be carefully trained out.
