When you leave your employer, If you have a Roth 401, you can roll that into your Roth IRA. The employer match will be in a regular 401k, so you’ll have to open a rollover Ira to put that into. Was easy as pie with schwab, no fees or nothing. Probably the same with all good brokerages.

Now I just add to my Roth IRA and leave my regular IRA alone. Actually need to find something to do with that account.

Even with the fees, good for you for taking the maximum match, you should always do that.

That's absurd. If temperatures get really bad we can brute force them down by releasing a few 100M to couple of B worth of gases in the upper atmosphere. The US Airforce can accomplish that with the spare change they find in their uniforms.
Sure, economies and ecosystems are going to suffer from climate change in the coming decades, but only a few developing countries are going to face collapse, the west will be fine.
Now peak oil, that's a real issue. If the oil runs out before we completely overhaul the power and energy infrastructure we'll be very much fucked. But I don't think it's gonna happen, we have all the technologies we need and enough oil left to implement them, mathematically speaking. Governments will act once they realize the extent of the threat.
