FOMO stocks under a $1 on 10-20 cent price movement is retarded in general, but I understand people can get more shares for less because the share price itself is cheap as fuck.

I have been accumulating REFR and don't give a fuck if it dropped $1 tomorrow if my end goal is $30 per share

This is a company that has existed for OVER 50 years and last quarter posted a -0.01 cent loss, down from -0.03 cents the quarter previous.

50 years in EXISTENCE never posting a profit, and is this close.

Then you have the pipeline:

1. 20 vehicles with SPD expected in the next 18 months mostly coming in 2020. This includes the 5 MB's, 4 McLarens and 2 Rivians that we know about (the Rivians haven't been confirmed by Research Frontiers, although we suspect for sure). So 9 more, some of which possibly won't make it.

2. After 2020, the number of models just keeps going up.

3. Company is very upbeat and moving forward quickly, in an expansive way. Post Gauzy RFI, vs Hitachi alone RFI, are totally different companies in terms of the outlook. The past is now the past.

4. Gauzy is customer focused in a way Hitachi was not, though may not have be on things like price, lead times, and warranty.

Congrats to all who shorted ONTX, and to those who held their positions. I am still comfy at .39. There is massive after hours volume for those who are reaccumulating. This is a brand new drug for ~60000 MDS patients who have literally nothing to lose by using it. There's no other drug. Tens of thousands of dollars per patient per year. Billions of market cap. They will be bought out by BMY (their combo test partner with Rigosertib/Vidanza) as soon as Rigosertib gets FDA approval. Biggest steal on the NASDAQ.

The cheapest option for big brokers is Charles Schwab I think, they will give you a $100 bonus when you deposit only $1k (and above) but only IF you sign up with a referral from a friend. I have heard though that they will offer you some kind of points instead of money so you should probably ask them first. Webull and Robinhood will offer you a free share but I have never done that so I don't know how that works.
But if you won't invest more than like $25k it doesn't really matter that much if you ask me since most big brokers basically have the same shit. BUT Schwab is the best one by far if your plan is to only deposit less than $5k and is looking for a major brokerage

A lot of people are saying they want to wait for ONTX to recover. I would advise against not taking profit or cutting losses now. After such a rally, how many people do you think bought in at .60 or more? People will be ready to sell as soon as it climbs to just break even. People will be much less trusting of a second rally and will sell much earlier especially so soon when the next conferences are just days away. ONTX which is in danger of delisting in June would put their best foot forward, not save the best for last. The good news is priced in, so to speak. Look at PTI or AMRN which had a very similar situation in December. Both of them keep dwindling down and people holding keep losing. This isn't about the company being good, it's about the company making money. What is going to happen is 6 months to a year from now, people will be buying in at half the current price when it is time to run up again, and maybe then is when the big break happens. But until then, your money will be bleeding. This is just my advice, but consider thinking about it.

>In an extraordinary announcement Tuesday, the Federal Trade Commission ordered five large tech companies -- Alphabet (ticker: GOOGL), Amazon.com (AMZN), Apple (AAPL), Facebook (FB) and Microsoft (MSFT) -- to provide data on all of their acquisitions over the last 10 years that weren't previously reported to the FTC under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. That means basically all deals that had been considered too small to be subject to FTC review.

>The FTC is asking for data and documents on the "terms, scope, structure, and purpose" of transactions that each company completed between Jan. 1, 2010 and Dec. 31, 2019.

One more thing I should mention. No one here knew anything about ONTX. You know that image where it lists good things about the company? From stocktwits. I remember someone posting it in the thread in December when it was crabbing at .29-.31 and so I nabbed some as a small bet. Outside of that image, people couldn't tell you about the company, I would wager it was made for a pump 'n dump because it does seem convincing and after what happened today, it puts further proof into it. I think that's all I have to say about this. People should do what they believe is best in the end.

BREAKING

>"Digital technology companies are a big part of the economy and our daily lives," FTC Chairman Joe Simons said in a statement. "This initiative will enable the Commission to take a closer look at acquisitions in this important sector, and also to evaluate whether the federal agencies are getting adequate notice of transactions that might harm competition. This will help us continue to keep tech markets open and competitive, for the benefit of consumers."

>The FTC is requiring the five companies "to identify acquisitions that were not reported to the FTC and the U.S. Department of Justice under the HSR Act, and to provide information similar to that requested on the HSR notification and report form." The companies also are required to provide information and documents "on their corporate acquisition strategies, voting and board appointment agreements, agreements to hire key personnel from other companies, and post-employment covenants not to compete."

I figured out an edge for shorting. I’m watching conference calls and if they don’t speak into the mic I’m shorting the fuck out of it. I might even create an algo to do it for me. Make the algo measures decibels and if decibels are below a certain adequate talking level I’ll have the algo short the stock.

If you mean my indicators like the ones I use, I don't actually use those or trust those or know how they work. They're just the defaults.

stop trying to tell the market what to do and start following what the market is doing. for all you know that major correction may never come and you'll just be missing out with trash cash. the market is always right, when you say shit like "BUT DUDE LMAO IT *SHOULD* GO DOWN IT REALLY *SHOULD* IT'S TOO HIGH THERE IS *NO WAY* IT CAN STAY THIS HIGH IT *MUST* GO DOWN!" you sound like a noob. not so much you individually, per-say, but all of the people (bobos especially in my experience) who say this sort of stuff.

yeah i have a feeling just gotta ignore the wild swings in the short term and wait until june when FDA approvals come in. if the drug works as it seems to be doing, it will be a financial goldmine for the company.

the disease is fairly rare but take into account 60,000 people have it in the USA. if even half of those people get treatment, paid for by insurances or medicare, and ONTX sells the drug at a profit of $1,000 per treatment/dose (which is an incredibly low conservative estimate considering the exorbitant astronomical prices of cancer drugs), that gives you 30,000 x $1,000 = $30,000,000 in pre-tax sales revenue. which for a company that has operating costs of about $20,000,000 a year is a huge deal. this one product could completely turn the company around from where it sits now. anytime you have cornered a niche in a market thats a good thing. they dont have any competition so you know their drug is pretty much going to be the only one sold as treatment to those patients. i dont know but to me this makes me think there is some hope to profit here still, especialy at 50 cents a share. i think we just got caught in a classic penny stock pump and dump orchestrated by a few large bag holders today but im thinking longer term. not even that long term, just a few months
