You paid $10k. That is peanuts, really. Plenty of middle class people have $10k in a single investment such as a stock.

Now your $10k is worth almost $190k.

You know who has $190k in a single investment? Millionaires and degenerate gamblers who are about to lose everything.

Now let’s consider this. This isn’t Apple or Microsoft or fucking McDonalds. NOBODY KNOWS what ChainLink is. Most people still don’t understand there is more than one cryptocurrency at all (Bitcoin). This is so far under the fucking radar, you are so fucking early, and you have a millionaire sized investment in an asset that is going to explode.

There still isn't though. As far as actual material news regarding chainlink nothing thats actually any different to the kind of "updates" we used to see back in around 2017 around the time it really took off. Ive got a couple k in link because back then I let myself get memed into it (and thankfully so) but also been following crypto long enough to know that just because I made a killing off of it doesn't mean its worth dick. This isn't the first time we've seen link at this level--it hasn't even reached its ATH--and I wouldn't be too surprised if I saw it going back down closer to $2 over the coming weeks. Still agonising over whether to sell and avoid the mistake I made first time around or if I should let that biz newbie in me out and ignore my thoughts as to why I should sell now rather than HODL in faith

I have already ascended beyond selling.

Watched my portfolio go from 3k to 22k during 2017 bull run, was only in ETH. As the crash started I started moving all my ETH into LINK. I held all the way until my portfolio sat $2800. I didn’t care every week for a year I put $50 into LINK the only crypto I own. Watched my portfolio rocket to 77k in the summer only to bleed to $28,000.

Today my portfolio is worth over $70,000 again. I’m never fucking selling. These hands are made of iron. I will watch it go to over 1,000,000. I’m not fucking selling even when it drops to $200,000. Because then I’m going to watch it go to $20,000,00. Do you understand me, I’m never fucking selling. No one will ever take my links. I’m going to live off of my steaking, cocaine, and hookers for the rest of my life.

It's not so bad. The hardest part is not selling the bottom desu. After the retracement in 2017, my mind was filled with "what-ifs" about selling the local top. "Why didn't I sell at $1.44? I could have bought a house/car/cocaine?!"

Now I just recognize that when I feel the most pressure to sell, it's actually the best buy signal out there. Similarly, when I start daydreaming about mansions, it's probably a local top and I should hunker down for a few months.

Talking about signals, one of the friends I shilled chainlink to in 2017 finally asked me if now is a good time to buy. The last time it felt this way, eth was $90. Strap in boys.
