ODL works like by creating a system for banks that lets them instantly buy and sell XRP ON THE MARKET instantanously. There is no other coin in crypto that can do this except XRP, because if something lik RLC tried to have ODL right now, the market price would jump 50% on its first buy order.

Imagibe if there were 5x those same $20,000 going on at the same time. That would be 300,000 XRP would have to he avaible on the market to buy and sell instantaneously. But since there are so many whales that have XRP in cold storage and all the people who simply lost their XRP wallet, the growing demand for free market XRP for ODL dimishes. I did see that ripple settled one of their lawsuits recently, saw it on another thread yesterday but I'm having a hard time finding another source.

I'm convinced xrp will finally break bearish and moon.. but the idea or 5% of the market being in control of McCaleb makes me wonder if he decides to dump his remaining xrp if thay price suppression will be enough to drown the market over the course of the year..

Jed McCaleb only owns 5% of the supply. XRP was $4 when he owned doubled the amount he currently has. He can only dump like .5% of the supply a year, and that just means it will be bought by whales who will most likely out it in cold storage and save to sell at a higher price.
The other 50 billion is all just back up for the overwhelming amount of ODL and to convince banks to use it. That might sound like a lot, but projects like Chainlink where sergey owns 65% of the supply moon greatly.

the lawsuit was dismissed easilym just another patent control trying to get XRP money. The patent came out a year after Ripples creation and had nothing to do with money at all.
