Interested in discussing BAT. First off if you haven’t downloaded the Brave browser yet you should. If you want to use my refferal link, that would be great https://brave.com/gre239 Okay now that we got that out of the way, if anyone doesn’t know by now, the browser pays you in BAT for dropping add notifications at the top of your browser. In 2 months I earned $23 in BAT for simply browsing the internet and cashed it into my checking account. The browser is as good or better than all other browsers, you can look into what else it offers. A no brainer to get bits of money trinkling your way for something your already going to do anyway. Now, what I am curious to hear is the opinion of other anons on how the price of the token might move. I’d assume lots of users will accumulate bat and then sell it. If I understand correctly the advertisers pay brave and that money is then converted into bat and splits among the viewers of the ads, with of course Brave making money off it all. With more users and more advertisers should it be reasonable to expect the price of the token to go up? The rewards paid out to go down? Smart play being to accumulate? What are your thoughts?

A lot of us BAT boys on /biz/ feel that although Brave/BAT is one of, if not THE top project in crypto, the price of BAT is more akin to a stablecoin and thus is a silly investment.

I love BAT and will keep buying more because I plan on using it some day (I already use it as a donation mechanism atm), but I don’t see it as a profitable investment. Its price action is way too stable.

I think I’m theory with more users turning on Brave rewards and more advertising getting onboarded to the ecosystem, price should go up, but we haven’t seen enough evidence yet that the token economics will work that way.

Brave browser has been slowing my devices, there is a noticeable improvement when I uninstall it. I interpret this as a growing lack of care and enthusiasm within the team and I wonder how much runway they have left

Objectively not the case for the majority of users. Could be problems on your end?

Maybe post about it in the Brave reddit instead of being so reactionary and emotional. Using Brave browser could end up saving you a lot of time and money.

Yeah, Brave runs better for me on my piece of shit laptop compared to Chrome, even. Might want to check and see if there's something up with your hardware, or if you have too many processes running in the background.

The team has been pumping out updates, fixes, and new releases like crazy. We've had publisher ads start to roll out as well as tab ads and its just February. There's no lack of enthusiasm, Brave has never been better. The names we picked up for ad campaigns this year have been top of the top too.

You have some other issue going on with your device.

Interesting. I've found the opposite. It's load times are on par (if not faster) than Chrome which is the fastest mainstream browser, IMO

sounds like your devices can tell there's a faggot at the helm. That's why they're so slow. Not braves fault.

As a side note, the Brave browser uses an uphold wallet to store your BAT. From the looks of things uphold let’s you use credit card to buy crypto without a cash advance fee? Is that right? That can’t be right
