First, I don't have any idea when this is going public, might be next week, or next January.

It seems Fantom is an official partner to Tokyo.
I have friend who is some sort electronical/network engineer at Cisco, he has been building networks for years in California, some in China etc.

We met yesterday in a party, he just came back from Tokyo where they are building shit ton of
for the new 5G infrastructure. During discussions with people I heard him mentioning something about Tokyo aiming to be first 5G smart city of the worlds and saying there will be probably work for him for years to come if he wants.

I have never told him anything about cryptos, and he probably doesn't even know Fantom is also a token, but when I asked about the companies which he is working with, he just casually dropped names like Intel, Google and Fantom.

I had to open Delta from my phone and show him Fantom's logo just to be sure it is the same one, and he immediately recognized the logo. He didn't know how much solutions Fantom is building to smart citys but one part has something to do with intelligent access management to smart citys.

I just googled 5G Tokyo city partners, Intel and Cisco are already listed, Fantom is not. Also found shitload of articles about Tokyo smart city plans, so this might potentially be a big

Fantom has a terrible staking model that only helps people dumping coins on the bag holders locked up in staking. They say making the unbonding period 7 days secure the network, when in reality nothing is even being ran on the network and no one is actually using it for anything.. other staking models let you unstake at anytime and with no rewards burned because you are helping them. Ftm tells you they are helping you while they make your money worthless with it locked up and you at their mercy. I've never seen such an aggressive and malicious scam

Why do you believe this is the next eth? Because you hope it is? This project is so dysfunctional there is nothing to compare it too. ETH popped off at the right time and had good optics that made it attractive during the bull run. All sorts of alts were running off eth. This isnt the case for ftm, not even close. Bad optics, shit team, one of the worst preforming alts since Nov, bad staking mechanics, horrible community, tweets from the team get maybe 8 likes by the same 3 dudes with multiple accounts, the main marketing guy is marketing other projects while the token is failing and their investors are stuck with their tokens locked up with no idea what the team is doing.. nothing is running on ftm and no one is actually using it for anything with no sign of anyone actually looking to use it. When you ask team members about the partnerships they either say they cant tell you, or wait. Tps is all based on how many mainnets they can pump out apparently, which means absolutely nothing. Andre is a paid advisor for ftm working on other projects... their partnerships dont actually exist because the team/CEO stole their money and ran off. There is nothing about this token that is appealing or hopeful.
