>But which sector will have the biggest gains?
SOXL is the answer. Face it. Semiconductors are crack in all but name. The desire for newer, faster, more is insatiable. Computers, GPUs, self-driving electric cars, AI enhanced smartphones, medical devices, microcontrollers, networking gear, machine learning, surveillance, infrastructure, military, the list is endless. No matter how many cores, how fast or efficient, demand requires bigger, faster, cheaper, better. The clamor for fresh silicon gives nary shit for national identity, creed, hue, gender, asshole virginity or other vain conceit; the multitude speaks in singular. The plea: semiconductor.
SOXL couples a single ETF entry point with the the best companies the space has to offer then pushes these already stellar returns to the limit with 3x leverage. With SOXL your economic interests are aligned with powerhouses Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom, AMD, Micron, Texas Instruments, Applied Materials, et al. Real tech companies with innovative products people want, not """tech""" """companies""" pushing shitty ads. And like all leveraged ETFs, SOXL is rebalanced daily, deftly mitigating margin risks.
In the last 7 years, SOXL has exploded over 55x yet still we are early. Semiconductor growth will proceed exponentially until every viable space is saturated with it. This is a fait accompli; the sheer number of interested parties and compelling outcomes make it so. The injection of increasingly compact and efficient sensors, microcontrollers, information processing and storage into everywhere and everything will be this era's seminal revolution, a revolution with SOXL holders planted firmly at the receiving end.
Stop waiting for the "pullback". Where we're going, fretting over a few dollars is meaningless. The deliberation is over; waiting is a failure mode. Now. Buy it now.

I can only get so hard. The more it dips the more I buy since I trade charts not news and long-term I believe wholeheartedly in semiconductors hence the pasta above. I only care about the price on the day I sell so every dip is just another opportunity to get in cheaper. I was buying as much as I could at 250 the other day and the only reason I didn't get more at 240 was because money didn't reach my brokerage account fast enough. My situation is a little different though since I got lucky in the 2017 crypto rush and am now moving money from there to stocks and SOXL. Coinbase will only let me move 50k a month so it's gonna take a while
The upshot is this though, buy as much as you can whenever you can. If you're waging, throw as much of each check in as you can. This thing will take you to the ocean. Count on it

How would it fare in a worst case scenario (full on recession) compared to the overall market and how fast would it recover when the recession ends? I have already dumped most of my "disposable" savings into stocks the past months and now I can only deposit 300€ once a month so I have to be very deliberate. The memes are starting to get to me but to acquire a position I'd have to sell a big chunk of my portfolio. We're so ripe for recession every gain I make feels like a big lie but I've been feeling okay about it since I'm spread pretty wide so most of my holdings should survive even in worst case. Not sure at all if I should abandon that strategy...

SOXL is a 3x version of SOXX/S M H (without the spaces (damn filter)) and moves about 5x faster than the S&P in both directions but since it's a leveraged ETF, it accelerates on the way up and decelerates on the way down. If the S&P moves 2% in a month you can more or less expect SOXL to move 10%. However if the S&P dropped 30% in a year long recession you would expect SOXL to drop maybe 80 or 90% rather than the expected but obviously impossible 150%. The flip side is when the recession levels off and things turn around you can expect SOXL to explode back up. The upshot of all this is simple. If you are a wagie just DCA in until millionaire status. If you need a bit less risk throw some TQQQ, SPXL, or even QQQ and SPY. Nothing in the markets is guaranteed but in my opinion I believe one of the greatest and simplest wealthbuilding tools in the next decade is semiconductors and SOXL. I believe that enough that I am practically all in as far as my stock accounts are concerned and I get more all in every month.

>nigga what? no liquidity what so ever
Here's a scenario where it makes sense: say you are an ultra poorfag and you want a comeup but you don't have any good DD on individual stocks so you're thinking index. Still, you need huge leverage since you're looking at indexes and you, again, are a poorfag hence options. You're thinking SPY options but you want ATM and you want a few months out to give it time to come back in case this budweiservirus thing really blows up. Only problem is being a poorfag you can't afford the May 15th ATM SPY call since it's gonna run you $9.09x100 dollars you don't have. So we look at SH puts since it's the inverse. May 15th ATM SH put is a grand total of $0.50x100 so $50. And you can afford that. There are 445 people on the bid and 1665 people on the ask as we speak. Is this ideal? No. But when you're poor, you're poor. A friend of mine wanted to make a move recently on this coronavirus thing with a grand total of $98 bucks in his account so I suggested the $24 May 15th for a total of $90. It's now at $1.20 with a $1.15 bid and plenty of volume for him to get out. I understand the whole scenario is absurd but that's what it was and he's in the money now. He's happy and wants to put more in to trade for real so it's a start. A lot of this thing is psychological and you have to give newfrens that little push. I bought some too despite never even noticing SH before so I could "ride" along with him that way he'd be that much more confident since he knows I'm a good profitable trader who's been doing this for years.

I don't see anything in the next year to accelerate the current trajectory but what a hell of a trajectory it is so the real news is there is nothing that will stop or even slow down the semiconductor sector. Basically demand cannot be satisfied so the players pump out newer designs as fast as they can. And the newer designs are smaller, more powerful and more efficient so they make practical what last year was only a vision, things like advanced machine learning, self driving cars and so on. Of course semiconductors aren't the only fast growing thing in the economy just look at biotech and health services. Though with the latter two you have massive regulatory hurdles that have to be crossed every step of the way. Not so with semiconductors. So I'm not looking toward a specific catalyst in the future. I think the catalyst for demand is already present and evolves on its own. It's a comfy hold between now and 2030. Basically guaranteed riches as far as I can see.

If you can watch SPY continuously throughout the day, have a market order of weekly calls about 6-10 days out, 1-2% out of the money. When you see a big order flow of buying pull the trigger and immediately set a tight trailing stop as the calls move up. A tight trailing stop of like $.02-.05 will let you ride the wave up and you’ll probably be closed out very fast but with profit. Rinse and repeat until you run out of day trades. Protip: setup accounts on different brokers for more day trades.

T's been very good to me. A lot of people shat on T over the debt when they bought Time Warner. But they have proved the haters wrong and the debt was/has been knocked down a hell of a lot. They even hiked the Divvy again. Also consider that they are now a media company. Your other players in the media game, well the share prices are way higher and the Divvy payments aren't as high. So your getting a real bargain. The Telecom/Xandor units are an extra bonus. T forks out 2.08 a share annually. For only $37 - 38 a pop. But don't get me wrong I like DIS and Comcast also. The only time it would really be useful is like with SPY/SH where they are the inverse of each other but one is much cheaper along with the buyer having very limited funds where getting a cheap price overwhelms the cons of the lower liquidity. QQQ and SQQQ is another good pair where QQQ is $228 and SQQQ its inverse is $17 making the puts much cheaper and palatable to a poorfag than the QQQ calls of the same strike price/expiration. the rigging he did in iowa was not to steal additional votes per se, it was to create a situation where he can declare victory and have the media create hype around him moving into the other contests. it's not even clear at this point if he'll come out the winner once all is said and done, the last I saw there were still 20% or so of the vote to count. but it doesn't matter because the purpose of iowa is not to garner delegates (they're too small to really matter that much), it's to build momentum because most voters are morons who just vote for the guy they see on tv and shit

you can literally look at the data and see the votes mysteriously being moved from the "progressives" (yang, warren, bernard) to the pete types. its getting called out and corrected with the excuse of technical problems, but like I said it doesnt matter because the media cycle has already solidified around a butt victory

Check your library for books about homosexual world leaders. You'll find men and women in power at civilizational peak times.

The lesson of history is that Heterosexuality is too confining a phenomenon to properly exercise power. As history, you can't just hand-wave it away.

Right now protocol is being changed up at every port, every point of entry, every air cargo and terminal.

Every government department, countless board rooms, situation rooms, at every level, preparations are being made, equipment requisitioned, personnel called up, resources put in place.

Every packet that's sniffed, every target cellphone is being tracked, every errant communication in and out-country is being monitored.

You can bet that tonight Pete is having his clearances upgraded, his details and task force is being doubled again.

Watch your shorts. Squeeze them hard. Because in 2020, only the strong survive. Only the iron hands will make it.

Okay lets math -

security A (a) and 3x ETF (b). Start both at $100. (a) drops 10% to 90. (B) drops 30% to 70. Then (A) gains 10%.,
(a)*1.1 = 99
(b) *1.3=91

From day one back in March of 2010 SOXL went relatively sideways for the first 3 years. Yet had you bought on day one you would be up 30x on your investment. That's 30x in 9 years through a shit load of volatility that supposedly would "beta decay" your gains out of existence. Except it didn't. I did the math
