I think I figured something about laziness out. If you're struggling with getting things done in general, like getting out of bed, mindless procrastinating, to the point where it's too late to catch up with the workload, not going outside even for groceries, lack of exercise, whatever it may be: First assume that you're just being lazy and push yourself to the limit, until you just can't do shit. The amount of inaction in your own life may just come from the desire for emotional comfort. You may feel like absolute garbage trying to fight the urge to spend another 18 hours playing some stupid video game, that feeling however may simply just come from the long habit of laziness and nothing else. I'm not saying that this is the case, but unless you cannot push your boundaries further you yourself should assume that it's the most likely of all scenarios.
The solution ultimately boils down to telling yourself that you're lazy, yes, but it's the specific thought pattern, the process behind industriousness that is missing, not your self awareness. So don't outright dismiss what I said because it sounds too obvious.

Laziness is caused by poor impulse control. Constantly seeking instant gratification fucks up the wiring in your brain, making you focus on the present and avoid doing actual work regardless of consequences. To fix this, you need to improve your ability to focus.

It means you have low dopamine naturally,

But fuck what it means just write 5 tasks down that you want done that day and do them. Get in the habit of finishing that list and you're gonna get a dopamine hit from every task you cross off. Start small with "make bed' , 'shower/brush", "get up at 9am" and move up after 21 days and you will make more progress than any other bullshit hack you found on Buzzfeed.

Feels good being autistic. I dont even have to try and do things. My brain is just addicted to my interests and I spend everyday of my life exhausting them.
