Being born before the internet was a gift. So glad to have known what life was like before technology started leading the way like it has since after the dot com bubble popped. You can't always teach people to know how to sort through the bullshit. So much of the media in all areas is all a compass leading people in the direction each platform chooses to.

Free speech gets you in trouble when it shouldn't. People are so sensitized and don't know how to take information in and not completely separate it from their beliefs. What's said on social media becomes their entire belief system. I think it's better to digest information and take a step back to sort it out, not jump to conclusions about what is right and wrong.
