Alright gentlemen I want a fair / clean fight.
Nothing below the belt.

Is there more money to be made on the API side or computation side.

Why or why not>

hard to say, there are already enormous value propositions that depend simply on market data (derivatives and insurance contracts) that would benefit staggeringly simply from having outcomes being timestamped on public blockchains, all that's needed for those contracts is per contract privacy and market data via decentralized oracles, but there is enormous value also in timestamping computationally intensive outputs on public blockchains, it's pretty boring but one of blockchains most incredible value offerings is cost elimination/reduction of data reconciliation due to having a shared ledger, idk man i like LINK and RLC but i can't help but kek at the cope from RLC holders

iexec just showed that they can easily integrate any oracles. they chose the best known. iexec oracles are still superior while link cant get their tee to work meaning that link needs iexec and iexec does not need link

yeah but how will decentralized application scale at the same level of the centralized one (if they will ever will?)
This is all cool stuff and can replace Amazon in the next 15 years... but will decentralized application be able to scale at the same level of decentralized one?

this

imagine thinking chainlink needs anyones help, or they can't do both parts themselves

this ends with iexec offering their services via the chainlink network

Chainlink will drink rlc's milkshake.
The nodes will be able to do the computation in TEE's. It'll turn iExec into unnecessary friction.
RLC might be good for some super high resource computations, but my opinion says it doesn't look too good for them

off-chain compute does not solve the problem of scaling. It only solve the computation problem not the number of transaction that can be sent on eth
