He hired a private detective to hound the guy with explicit instructions to find evidence that the guy was a pedophile, and then told the media that he had solid evidence that the guy was a pedophile, when he had none.

Oh, and by the way it was about 24 hours after the thai soccer team was rescued when Elon Musk announced that he personally was going to solve the Flint water crisis. Because that's how much of a narcissistic, insecure dick he is -- he tried to steal the limelight from the Thai cave rescue with a grandiose promise that he never followed through on.

They may never be profitable, but they have definitely been doing things that are difficult and new, and also building infrastructure from scratch that their competitors have been developing incrementally for 100 years. They still can't build a car for less than $40k, without government subsidies. You can go buy a used car for a few grand that will get 40+mpg, which is better for the environment (if you care about that) than a new car and gets you from a to b. There's no real value there. All the money poured into tesla just makes another luxury car brand people only buy for prestige and hype. Good I guess if you fall for the hype, want to show off to people you're semi-well off but not rich enough to afford something better.
