Why would some shitty company that manufactures face masks price go up just because of a single event where they sold a bunch?

Do the long term prospects look any different? You might have one good quarter of earnings, but after that, the PE will be fucking awful. The only reason to buy a stock is if you see a long term growth or the company is under valued. Neither is true, yet because people are stupid, they make money off of the other stupid people also buying it not realizing this.
