Is it possible that the Ripple IPO will be a means for Ripple to fund itself without the use of XRP any longer such that they'll burn their remaining share of XRP in order to make XRP more decentralized causing the value of XRP to sky rocket due to the newfound lack of sell pressure from Ripple? Also in this hypothetical situation the point of decentralization would hint at a future massive and widespread purpose for XRP that requires alignment with global regulations.

How does Ripple company make money? Doesn't having a for-profit company behind the blockchain just reinforce the fact that it is not decentralized? Does the company that has raised hundreds of millions already need to raise more money with an IPO?

Get it through your fucking thick skulls pajeets, XRP is just another shitcoin in a pool of shitcoins and it will rise and fall with the market. Nothing else matters, it is not going to outperform the market in any way that can be sustained for more than a week or so. Not in your lifetime anyway. The Ripple IPO is a dangerous gamble, but a logical one for the devs, since their sales of XRP have now really dried up. However, their pro-forma valuation was set at 10 billion, and this includes the 50+billion XRP they hold in escrow. Now try some simple math and tell me how much is this escrow worth - see? So either XRP is extremely overvalued or Ripple the company has no value at all outside the XRP they hold.
