I work with a guy in my work hub. He is obsessed with stocks, non-fiction, and money. He is younger than me, came in, was able to cut cost for the company and give better routing in logistics. I talk to him about stocks, he knows about basically most of the blue-chips and cannabis markets. He knows some of their CEO's and percentages.
Talk to him about random topics, he knows most of them all well. He knows facts, some of their dates. He tells me when I ask him how he retains so much information, he tells me he has aspergers. Guy makes a ton of money from the markets and I ask him why he continues to work here. He says he really just likes the insurance and company. Sometimes I dont really like him because he seems cocky and becomes annoying after talking about his interests. But at times I really wish I had some shit like this since he seems so well off for his age. He has wierd habits where he shrugs and jerks his shoulders, if he gets to thinking he will pace his work area and get on his tip-toes.

Went to look online and there seems to be a fucking ton of these people being successful

I had an autistic 14yo in my studies at university. He could memorize quotes, pages, years etc and would correct us on references and facts even on days he didnt bring his books. But damn, you shouldve seen him that one day when he was late and someone had taken his seat. He first froze for like 1min, standing in door, then walked towards the seat and as he got closer and closer towards the guy occupying it he would start to move his arms and legs in a weird way much like he was dancing but without any rhythm. He went to Oxford a semestre later.

I think part of it is that in order for an idea to generate a cash flow it needs to have inherently demonstrable value, but also be idiosyncratic enough that every other smart person hasn't though of it already.

You'd be wrong. Assburgers is common in STEM fields and fields where there is highy technical based skills with objective measures. But in general business you want to have soft skills, that's why high functioning narcissists and psychopaths, and people with Machiavellian Personality Disorder do particularly well in business and politics. Even better is if you can build a team of assburgers around you to do the real world, arrange for them to get the resources they need to work uninterrupted, but still put the smack down on them when they aren't delivering profitable results.

I took an online course in business for the free neetbux and scored the maximum on 7 out of my 8 exams with literally 1,5 hours of studying per week.
