Now that I have your attention, I have a question for you wiser senpais, totally pic unrelated.
What is stopping me to open up shop and start selling crypto (any currency) to normies? Let's say in a country like bong land, where people has more money then sense and crypto is fairly accepted by financial institutions.. could I just open door in a main shopping area and start provide a crypto gate for normies? All those kind of boomers that don't want to mess about with exchanges, or that are totally oblivious to technology but still want a piece of the pie, kind of people..
I would like to be 110% legal and pay my share of tax while charging a little premium for the service, of course. A sort of humanised crypto ATM, if that makes sense?
If localbitcoin is legal (and it is as afaik) would not be possible to extend that into a brick and mortar shop?
Any idea how this would work out?

I think you'd have to get a money transmission license and also have a KYC/AML system in place but I could be wrong. In any case, someone from the government will definitely be harassing you and you'll go to jail if you do it wrong, so make sure to talk to an actual lawyer in your state before trying this.

Thanks senpai, I am trying to find an accountant that actually have some familiarity with crypto, first, and it is proving to be a very hard task indeed.
A lawyer is paramount, KYC will also be essential I guess, especially for large transactions. I am sure the HM mafia will force it's way if enough money start going around, and they'll want to wet their beaks at all costs. I'll have to budget that into the commission fees, I suppose.
I'll look into the money transmission license.

Smart banks will do this when crypto really explodes. Physical kiosks for crypto, etc. However I imagine most transactions will happen on PCs or smartphones, even for stupid rich boomers, so if you dont want to deal with logistics of owning a store don't do it

I was thinking exactly the same, banks will do it, given time..I just want to stop wageslaving and do something with crypto. I would like to provide exactly that PC transaction service to normies, either they come with their own public key and wait for confirmations while drinking a coffe/tea, or I could give guidance on how to make their own wallet on their own.
Ordering hard wallets for them, or simply educate them about crypto/blockchain tech...

to buy crypto you need KYC. you will have to register as an exchange and there are a ton of laws around tracking exchanges for your customers. not impossible but the red tape is real

I agree, what it compensate that is the cheap commercial rate rent price, the shop would eventually double up as residence if comfy enough. That if business lacks of spark, of course.
