red pill me on top MBAs /biz/. I'm a disgruntled military ossifer with a meme criminal justice degree. Now don't get me wrong, the career pays well and is pretty easy. I've been in the system since age 17. However, at the end of the day it's a socialist institution that thrives on mediocrity and kills the entrepreneurial spirit. I've been flirting with the idea of getting out once I make it to CPT and transitioning to the private sector via a top 20 MBA program. Is this the golden ticket to wealth and power?

"a socialist institution that thrives on mediocrity" I guess that's why you've got such a good paying long term job there then bud?

It's clear you think yourself superior to the others within the military but at the end of the day you support a system that kills on demand.

What do you need an mba for?

I left as a Navy as an LT and got my MBA debt free with Military gibsmedats. I'm 30 now starting my new career at a finance-based firm, decent starting salary of $70k which was amazing compared to officer pay.

Having that rank on my resume probably got me the job (along with a great academic record in that MBA program), it's one of the best reputation builders to show you were promoted as an officer more than once.

You don't need a top MBA if you're one of those confident alphas with good social skills. What those programs offer is a network, but if you can build it yourself then there's no need to hand over hundreds of thousands of dollars to get it.

MBA is a meme to get chucklefucks like op to take out $100k in debt. They then teach you some obvious truisms and buzzwords and shove you out the door.

Is it true that MBAs are full of Stacis looking to get chadthundercocked? Other than the networking, I feel this is a viable option to meet my future waifu.

Also GI Bill will pay nearly 100% of tuition. Even at Harvard or Wharton

I don't think you should go to a university to be honest. How would a LT navigate a university when you can't even get through a self correcting land nav course?

would you volunteer to train fresh-out-of-undergrad lieutenants for OCS? do a part-time program, save the money and find Stacis who work already

read MBA in a day and the Education of Millionaires. School is outdated and overrated. Unless you're in a STEM field don't even bother. Richest motherfuckers don't have degrees for a reason; They weren't stupid enough to pay someone to get a job.
