is it dumb to consider going into funds in 2020?

i wagecucked a lot since 2012 and made around $50k during 2017 and 2018 on crypto, but i would have made a lot more just doing normie investing (i.e. FIRE-stuff) all this time

feeling quietly depressed whenever i realize i would've had a net worth like 50% higher if I had just done index funds investing since then

would have realized gains with ETFs?

impossible to know

probably not

maybe i did as well as i could, as schopenhauer would've said

in 2009 i was into peak oil and was seriously thinking society would collapse by like 2013

that's why i never got a mortgage as well, missing out on almost 100% gains there too

seems all i can do is save income and get 2% because of weak hands, whereas my uncle got 40% return on his favorite real estate fund last year that he told me about in january 2019

Just put everything you got in btc, eth, ltc, link, dash and atom and forgeddaboudit until 2021. Why would you be retarded and dump your savings in at the tippy-top of the stock market? Gah...

well, almost every week it's been the tippy-top for the last 10 years

i do believe i could make better gains thru crypto though

still kicking myself for missing out on the icx and vechain icos in 2017

the fund i was thinking of buying on jan 3rd is already up 6% in 2020

Impossible to know is right. But if you have 6k you’re jot going to need for at least 5 years, you should seriously just find your IRA and buy an index fund. Set it to reinvest dividends, and probably just forget about it until next year.

What fund?

>> No.16929256

Yeah. Buy my funds baggie

2020 is the year of cash as the market slows down and heads towards a recession and hopefully a depression. Remember kids, buy high, sell low

>the year of cash is a year where central banks all over the world have loosened monetary policy and pledged to loosen more if necessary.
