It's a positive feedback loop, but we aren't sure what the initial catalyst was. It may have been co2. It may have been solar forcing. Who knows? The more water vapor in the air also means more clouds to reflect the sunlight.

The reason I'm in XRP is because I once was told the exact day XRP would overtake ETH in marketcap back in sept 2018.
