Junk costs less now but will also be worth less when silver moons. Junk has always been worth less when silver goes up a lot. But some people believe that junk will work well for barter when SHTF.

Both anon. Junk for fractional and bullion for stacking.

50/50 would be fine, but if you plan on stacking more than say 500 oz I would go with a smaller ratio of junk silver.

Brainlet question, but how does Silver and Gold retain value if the dollar keeps falling in value? Wouldnt that mean buying silver and gold is only valuable in a new economy since youd have to work more for less silver in devalued dollar?

>> No.16901948

>>16901927
if the dollar falls in value precious metals increase. i.e. what we've seen in the western world for the last 100 years

Gold backs are horribly overpriced. Cool technology, but not worth it at this point in time. Wait until this tech becomes more mainstream and closer to spot price. If you really wanted on, there’s currently a way to get a free one sent to you. Just look it up

I'm hoping they become collectors items

>Thinking that silver and gold only have value in USD
Anon, PM's are a store of value the world over, if the USD collapsed completely tomorrow and ceased to exist, PM's would still hold it's value in other currencies around the globe as well as a standard value of trade.
