I'll rent till the bubble bursts. If it never bursts it doesn't matter. I don't plan to have children, I might as well rent, it's cheaper and less stressful than being a mortgage slave.

Kek, let them...what else are they supposed to do with their money. I’ve never seen so many millennials closing on houses like I have in 2019. The banks are desperate are are really starting to loan again.

perpetual doomers will literally never make it. mortgage is cheaper than my current rent for a smaller place plus it's a big enough house that I already have a renter lined up for one of the rooms. get fucked

So the fomo begins for buying a house. Prices go up to get the highest bidder. But once all of them have a house what happens with the price? What happens when prices fall to pre-fomo prices but there still aren't enough buyers compared to sellers?

Not buying a house at the moment especially when I don't even have rent.

I didn't think renting was bad until apartment management didn't renew my lease because they wanted to renovate the unit, so I was forced to move out.

mortgages aren't really stressful unless you overextend yourself or something. what's stressful is dealing with contractors. where I live (probably everywhere) they are the greediest bunch of lying retards I've ever seen. these mother fuckers charge $200+ per hour for unskilled labor, and they lie through their fucking teeth about what they are even going to do.

boomers whine about electricians and plumbers ripping them off, but that market is regulated enough that you pretty much always know what you're getting. need someone to cut some trees or dig a french drain? prepare to have people look you in the eye and tell you that it's a $10k job.

fuck contractors.

lmao I feel terrible for that guy, his renter is going to be broke in 6 months and because laws ALWAYS favor the renter that guy is going to be his new permanent roommate until he moves, and even then the next guy is going to have issues.

>> No.16865581

What will this do to the REIT market? If demand is at an 11 year high, is it too late to ride the wave? How did this compare to 2006 when houses were ridiculously expensive but then when the bubble burst houses were everywhere.

Help a newfag understand. Not looking to invest, just looking to understand.

i got about 80k saves up
