16853190 No.16853190 [Reply] [Original]

I put all my savings into crypto, every last penny. I can't buy any more because the entirety of my paycheck goes to living expenses. So I decided to go all-in on Monero. Will I make it?

Lmao. XMR is the best virtual money there is right now. With that being said, it's not a particularly good investment imo. This isn't a smart market. Picking the best money in the moment, may not be a wise decision

provably false. nobody who is getting zcash is doing private transactions because the privacy is optional. That and all the other issues i've mentioned. it's a pump and dump shitcoin without any actual community and will fail in the long run.

so they can enable the privacy feature anyway? I'm not sure I understand your point

>> No.16853975

>>16853849
the vast majority of normies are not going to put in the research to do shielded transactions. Optional privacy is not privacy.

https://twitter.com/JEhrenhofer/status/1152300492216832000

With monero, every transaction is at a base layer of extremely strong privacy. Thousands transactions a day with max privacy for monero vs a literal couple with zcash. Additonally more transactions with monero means increased privacy because of the use of ring signatures.

The action of sending monero to another person is as simple as using the other person's address (which won't give you their wallet info), nor will it share this transaction on the public ledger so people can track it back to you. The few ways of tracking monero are inconsequential unless you are a person of interest, and even in this case, with a little research (running a node, using i2p, not repeating transactions) it is virtually impossible to track what somebody is doing. But as I said earlier, it is almost impossible to track what somebody is doing even if they are just sending funds directly to somebody else and being a normie. This is not the case with any other privacy coin and it's why Monero is king.

the thing with monero is that it doesnt care about pumps, it just shits its way through, ignoring markets, i suspect there is massive backdoor or coin cloning which hasnt been public for a long time
