I just got fired from my well paying job.
We were talking about politics and I was arguing how there's actually no racism in America and you can become what you want even if you are black. 1 week after I get a message from the HR department. They informed me that I was denounced by several coworkers for making racist and demeaning remarks about minorities, somethin which I never fucking did. fuck this shit, fuck sensitive people, fuck fuck fuck, I'm tired of this bs. I had this job for 5 years and I was making really good money and it was extremely comfy, I was even going to get a big raise because my performance was one of the best in the office. Now I'm fucked, it's all over. I fucked up years and years of my life because of a simple comment. One mistake and you-re done. I was worth nothing to the company, and to my coworkers, fucking traitor cowards, I wish I could strangle them all fucking pieces of crap. They even told me they have "proof" of what I said, this means someone was actually recording me or something, I just don't fucking know. I'm done.

Maybe if you think diversity hiring and affirmative action were the only forms of racism in the system than sure. The well goes deeper than that. It's not exclusively a race thing here either. The entire game is rigged to keep enough poor people in the working class so that someone can provide goods, services, and cheap labor to the rest of us. We could make wealth inequality better and combat irresponsible spending by teaching fiscal responsibility in our public schools, but it's never been implemented. Why? Because schools and businesses are in deep with each other, and they want mote generations of mindless consumers.

I 100% agree that even with the current state of clown world, race relations have improved over the last 20 years, and I would agree that plenty of racial incidents are overblown. However I cannot agree that racism is dead simply because of my own personal experiences living and working in rural America.
