It's hard to sell when you have no idea what Sergey has in plan and your stack isn't big enough to go through the "I'll take a profit here, if it goes up it's ok I still have X amount of LINK left". I had $100k at the very very peak $5 per LINK. That was like hours at that price point. $100k is not making it. I have nothing to do with it. I'm young, 19, I can wait a little longer. If LINK was a shitcoin, I would have gradually sold and looked for a new investment like with XRB. But there are no good new investment opportunities like smart contracts. It's fucking tough because at these times when the price is crabbing at the bottom, the weather outside is this gray rainy bullshit 24/7, have to manage money to eat and live with my family of 4 in a 3 room apartment with a father who has done almost fuck all for 5 years, meanwhile being in uni. I'm venting here although I should be thankful for what I have, but it still pisses me off. If my friends had a similar situation, I would feel better, but they all live in nice houses and don't have to worry about buying clothes.

The ‘scam’ FUD is honestly some of the dumbest shit I’ve ever seen on biz. If the team were just planning on exit scamming, they could have done it at the ico, or the 2017 peak, or before mainnet, when fewer eyes were on the project. Going out of your way to increase awareness, development, adoption, etc makes zero sense if you are just going to take the money and run, every burned partner is a potential lawsuit.

Chainlink could absolutely fail. It’s possible that staking/reputation is way too hard for the small team, or many other things. But it’s legitimately retarded to think it’s a scam, given all the team’s activity stretching back years.

This FUD is dumb, but it does affect me over time when it's bombarded all the time. It creates this depressive/negative atmosphere around LINK. It makes weaker minded people constantly doubt their decisions. Constantly think whether you should sell and buy in lower. I come to biz for Chainlink related news/discussion and all I get is this constant negative spam. If my life was fine and dandy, it would have minimal to 0 effect on me. Currently it just makes holding LINK a bit shittier. Not selling though, of course, just holding on and feeling like shit sometimes.

Fren the phrase "we are all in this together" may have started as a meme, but understand that all true link marines are in pain, some immune to it while others fall victim to their own schizo fud.
