This is wonderful Apu. Saved.

I use combination of the two main Ichimoku cloud lines (kijun and kenkan) set to slightly longer than default periods. A volume indicator, and a two lines cross style indicator. Whether I use all in tandem or only two of the three depends on the style of stock. Commodities, for instance, do not play nice with my volume indicator so I don't use it on those stocks.

>Is implied volatility... good?
It's either good or bad depending on where the chart you're looking at is (say overbought or oversold conditions) and what the outlook is. High implied volatility doesn't mean anything about the strength of the trend, necessarily.

Santa Claus rallies go THROUGH the 2nd though... why would you short into the 2nd?

Also, gex looks like there's decent support, so no dramatic selloff should occur, if my understanding of this is somewhat right. I think it means the big money is decently hedged, or that dips will likely be bought.

ME oil is not irrelevant. And notice that it is in the US, Saudi, Russia, and Iran self interest to keep oil from falling too far.

That said, I think I bought the USOI too soon. When Warren finally announces how bad she did with donations this time around, that could kick energy stocks down again. If she is the nominee though, that would really be a boost to energy stocks. Banning shale fracking would cause the natty to absolutely moon.

All that was said was not to invest in the middle east, and not to sell your oil stocks. Anon was just someone who pays attention to the news.

After phase 2 results both Jim Czirr and Dick Uihlein said they intended to partner or sell. They hired Boston based Back Bay Life Science Advisors to help. My guess is those initial talks failed as they could not agree on a price.

Last year they initiated a rights offering and Uihlein directly referenced other people's belief they could not go it alone. An indirect shot at negotiations and their lack of money being used against them. Since the rights offering they changed the structure of management by reigning in Czirrs influence, which was too powerful, and also cleaned the share structure to make all their convoluted preferred stock easily convertible to common.

Even the change to an adaptive trial is a change to what big pharma now openly say they want. They've had plenty of time to keep negotiations going and gives and takes to attract a partner or sell. I'm betting it happens and they are narrowing down concessions and finer points.

Thinking of getting some GNFT shares to play for its upcoming P3 trial. Had positive results on NASH test data back in November, as well a DSMB recommendation. End of year, they will file a NDA, to setup for a PDUFA date in 2021. It seems to be under the weather, and there is barely any volume each trading day. Test the ichimoku for ways to use it somewhat outside the prescribed traditional method. There's a reason I only use the two main lines with those set to different longer periods. I don't use the kenkan cross over kijun as a buy signal although I may as a sell signal. Typically kenkan cross below kijun happens well after I've already sold anyway.
*translator's note: the english version of kenkan and kijun is conversion line and base line, respectively. Kenkan is the short period one, kijun the longer.

Who in the fuck said anything about the US economy? These events along with other shit that will probably happen will lead to major moves for oil, like bombing oiI installations, seizing tankers, etc etc.

Like you said, they are just like weedbro stocks.. pure gamble. Not to mention that I think this vegan push is just a phase, normal people would never stop eating meat in mass. Most of them just don't care, hence nobody knows where the hell companies like BYND should be priced at. Their consumer base is like 1.6-2% of the US. Afaik robinhood is the only one with really free options trading so pretty much don't bother with them except for your options. But if you just started I wouldn't even touch options
The rest of the discount brokers (etrade, fidelity, td, schwab) are all free for online equity trades now anyway and their platforms are loads better. Execution is better too
20 bucks isn't going to go far but it doesn't take much. Tbh you ought to start putting your excess cash in it and just buying dividend payers that aren't too shitty. Or index ETFs if you're really broke. The problem with it isn't so much the limited return but that it prices you out of good names and encourages buying pink sheet trash

My mommy said 7.5 is nothing to be ashamed of!

I rarely see futures make full % moves, they're generally pretty flat, well below half a percent.

I believe eurocucks might have it sooner but they're "testing" it in the US in April, it'll be a limited time thing. I didn't ask about canada because it's too luxurious.

People say these cola-coffee drinks are good, and this one's got twice the caffeine of regular colas... it'll be interesting to see how it does and how coke energy does.

KO owns like 20% of MNST but I'm sure they'd be just fine crushing them over the course of a few years.

Partial shares coming to schwab (and RH) this year, so even the poors will be able to buy Berkshire!

You think so? I think an energy recovery is possible in 2020 but I'd rather be in the oil services.

I also think USOI is interesting and was worth gambling $160 on in my retirement account with DRiP.

Alright lads, for those in AIMT. AIMT will have their peanut allergy drug approved by Jan 17 (the first and only approved peanut allergy drug). This is certainly priced in, as well as the black box labeling (think of AMRN). There is a 25% short interest, which may mean a possible short squeeze post approval. However, shorts may know something that retail investors do not. Extended labeling and additional warnings may be the reason as to why shorts aren't covering yet. What certainly is not priced in, is a potential BO by Nestle, as they hold 19% of shares. A pediatric allergy marketing position was also opened up and filled last year. This may be setting up for a BO. What are your thoughts, /smg/?

Love it. Some nonsense that isn't what he was elected for, perfect I love it.

I thought a lot of it had to do with that ETF's are. Still pretty new and prone to closing down because of not enough AUM, so there's a lot of churn and novelty products, but that QYLD and USOI had a promising strategy.

When funds are closed it doesn't mean they just get to take all the money and tell investors to fuck off, as far as I can tell. I hope. Those actually just lost all their money because their investments wound up being totally worthless?

I wouldn't worry about it, after further reflection I've realized and decided that the initial overreaction will be short lived. Do no FOMO into the oil trade tomorrow.

There are many times I've regretted waiting for a dip, but it's NEVER been as harmful as when I didn't wait for the dip, and a sign of support.
