I've been making money after a long period of not making money. My actual skill level at trading stocks has been getting more honed because I put more 'skin in the game' (that's exposure; look up what that means on your own lol). It's taken a lot of loss to get to this point but I've finally 'gotten' it, you know? Actually I take it all back, I lose a lot of money because I invest in penny stocks lol. I really do know how to trade stocks. I just invest poorly on purpose. All the loses that I've taken are cause I really don't care too much about losing money, I can just make it all back. I just need to consistently make 100% every week and life's perfect.
How do I talk to girls?

they're pretty much the same thing when you're young based on it's equity exposure based on your retirement date, then transitions into more bond holdings are you approach retirement. it's a convenient "set it and forget it" approach. VOO is also fine, and a bit cheaper to hold vs. SPY, but you wouldnt want100% allocation when you're 65.

But there is. The drug is 100%, the new trial design seems to be as well. Only questions here are the funding and time. I don't think there is a drug out there in trials with more stable scientific evidence behind. Also remember that nash is not thr main point here, cancer is. Their drug is a key modulator of tumor microenvironment, and controls metastasis to a great extent. Galt has the drug, and patents, there is no way around them. Also, checkpoint inhibitors tend to mess up the heart, but galectin inhubition can prevent this. I can imagine everyone with cancer getting this thing in 6 or so years as an addon at least

He’s assured me that he doesn’t have any debt and pays for everything in cash. He doesn’t know I have access to his credit report (he uses the same pw for everything).

Should I send him a copy of total money makeover?

It depends if the dividend is sustainable or not. If the company is using a high yield to desperately hang on to their shareholders as the ship is going down, then that'd be a meme situation. Gold is a monetary phenomenon. If we get inflation, it'll moon. If we get deflation, it'll get smashed just like stocks. Maybe LESS than stocks, but still smashed all the same.

Watch the Fed's actions like a hawk. If they pull the rug on monetary easing this year and actually start talking about raising rates, Gold is bound to have a bad time.

That is, unless, price inflation starts picking up due to a major trading partner like China or Saudi Arabia not wanting to trade in dollars anymore. But that's a very remote possibility.

After that it's a mixed bag, as it could tank hard if the sky-high expectations aren't met. And the conference starts one hour after market close, so you could be in for a rude awakening if you can't trade in that time frame. On the other hand, it could also moon even further.

>>16726888
Expectations for CES (plus potential leaks), target prices being rised again, news on AMD gaining marketshare left and right, news on AMD gaining a significant amount of wafer capacity in 2H 2020 from TSMC as AAPL switches to 5nm + TSMC increasing capacity, making AMD their biggest 7nm contractor starting in 2H 2020.

Plenty of good news today.

Well, 91% of my wealth I let a roboadvisor handle. I fuck with the rest myself (that's the now at closing 65% gains you see) and I stick MOSTLY to healthcare because that's what I work in, so I know it. I am a long term buy and hold so daily movement doesn't mean much to me.

I bought 700 out of a hunch last week when I saw their history and what their industry is. So today during the bull run I sold my AMD and bought another 300 shares. Sitting comfy with a suicide stack.
I think since this is a data company the shit will moon. The data industry is only going to be getting bigger in 2020 and they are recuperating from the 3. or 6 dollars they were at before.

Bernanke did this “lock step rate hike” thing that was nuts. Like “well we committed to raising rates every quarter, so surely the market, the lenders, the borrowers, and all the parts of the economy are expecting us to raise rates and have prepared for it”
Really not chill. Imagine if Powell had just said “we said we’re doing it so we’re doing it” and raised rates instead of pivoting.

Some random thoughts: I think the national debate around that time had been throwing around the term “flip-flopper” at the time, especially in regards to presidential politics. When people start bashing the idea of changing your mind because of new evidence, that could really lead towards some pig-headed stupid moves.

SOXL is the answer. Face it. Semiconductors are crack in all but name. The desire for newer, faster, more is insatiable. Computers, GPUs, self-driving electric cars, AI enhanced smartphones, medical devices, microcontrollers, networkinging gear, machine learning, surveillance, infrastructure, war machines, the list is endless. No matter how many cores, or how fast and efficient, demand requires bigger, faster, cheaper, and better. The clamor for fresh silicon gives nary shit for national identity, creed, hue, gender, asshole virginity or other vain conceit; the multitude speaks in singular. The plea: semiconductor.
SOXL couples a single ETF entry point with the the best companies in the semiconductor space then pushes these already stellar returns to the limit with 3x leverage, all responsibly managed via daily rebalancing to boot. SOXL aligns your economic interests with powerhouses like Nvidia, Qualcomm, Intel, Broadcom, Micron, Texas Instruments, Applied Materials, et al. Real tech companies with innovative products people want, not """tech""" """companies""" pushing shitty ads.
In the last 7 years, SOXL has exploded over 42x yet still we are early. Semiconductor growth will proceed exponentially until every viable space is saturated with it. This is a fait accompli; the sheer number of interested parties and obviously compelling outcomes make it so. The injection of increasingly compact and efficient sensors, microcontrollers, information processing, and storage into everywhere and everything will be this era's seminal revolution, a revolution with SOXL holders planted firmly at the receiving end.
Stop waiting for the "pullback". Where we're going, fretting over a few dollars is meaningless. The deliberation is over; waiting is a failure mode. Now. Buy it now.

There was a very real risk of some heavy inflation around that time period though. Remember, oil peaked at $180 per barrel in 2006ish.

The Fed's modus operandi is to raise rates when they think they can get away with it (booming economy) or when they are forced to (inflation expectations running high).

A more cynical view would be to say that the Fed raises rates when they want markets to crater.

Starting at 22nm beartards were mewling about the end of Moore's law yet here we are at 7 with plans all the way down to 1nm on the drawing board. Of course by the time we get there, new methods will have been discovered. Maybe we switch from silicon to graphene, maybe 3 dimensional circuits or optical pathways. Then consider transistor density is only a single vector towards more powerful hardware. There are many more like multicore, specialized hardware like DSPs and TPUs. Also graphics processors, etc. Even if Moores's law ended tomorrow, there's still the build out and advances in software that will induce demand. We have a looong way to go no matter what happens. It's not. The article just explains the connection and why OXY managed to win the Anadarko bid. I hadn't dug too deep in to OXY as the chart looked god awful to me (still kinda does) so I wasn't aware of the situation, news to me etc.

I don't normally pay much attention to yahoo news but it pops up in tradingview's news tracking a lot and sometimes I get clickbaited. There's a pottery tier exchange on one of the articles by long time never-Trumper, Rick Newman.

I see it as people completely ignoring debt payments and just throwing statements in the trash. How do you see it?

This is a good strategy. Degenerate gamblers will/have create(d) liquidity for who ever is pumping and will get trapped after it dumps.

Good start to 2020. ONTX is on fire again. More large institutions are buying in, good news is seemingly not far away cause they're getting deals lined up to really ramp up production once the good news pops. At which point this ultra cheap price won't be for long. God, yes I'll be fucking happy if this hits 2.5, but if this hits 10 I'll be really fucking happy and prob have a heart attack cause I've got 12,100 shares. 121,000.00 richer.. in an eye blink.

Not as low as it gets but certainly very low for recent couple years. August low was 2.03. Previous low before that was all the way back in March 2016 at $1.57.

Good good. After covering to take profits watch for if many of the biggest degenerate gamblers will panic and sell their bags possibly driving the price below resistance for another drop to short again. Yes let the hate flow through the degenerates
