Actually it's more general /biz/ advice than strictly financial, but this very charmy older man who had made a small fortune told me that the easiest way to make a fortune of your own was to convince people you can make them wealthier.
The way he argued it was
>what's the only thing more valuable than money? More money. Most people try to sell a product or a service, I try to sell them money and the greed and the FOMO takes over.
I have a feeling he might have run Ponzi schemes when he was younger and that's how he got the capital for his more legitimate bussinesses later. He was a very interesting guy, not educated by very well read.

Wrong answer. The only way is to figure out how to make more money. Try to get a job that pays 40k next year. Then 50k etc. Educate and train yourself to level up. You need to figure out how to extract more $$ for your time. Find a second job to lever up. Stop spending significant amounts of time on leisure and complaining. Get to work.

Saving is secondary to the above. Simply saving won't move the needle compared to the above. That being said, you should always be minimizing your expenses anyways. And stop buying unnecessary shit.
