ur mum lmao nah srsly bruv norway has the largest sovereign wealth fund in teh world and they put a bunch of capital into the UK for a 30-year timeframe investment so I reckon the UK will do rather well though I'm quite concerned that we may see negative rates (functionally real rates are already negative) due to long-term stagnation

I can see two plays,
1) Businesses that are mostly UK focused. Look at what LLOY and the FTSE 250 did after the election.
2) Cheap large cap high div stocks with international exposure. Currency risk from the pound pumping will cause their price to tank. Have a look at the holdings in a UK dividend aristocrats fund.

they're making bank from warhamer total war and the other pc games while their miniatures sales are increasing. now they're making 4 animated series and a real live action series set in the 40k universe. I think they'll go up for the forseeable future.

Still, Robinhood UK will have no fees for trading American stocks, Forex conversion, holding monies, or depositing/withdrawing cash. Emailed them to confirm as well, 0 fees. A lot better than the £11.95 fee per trade I'm getting with H&L at the minute...
