I currently own roughly $800 in silver. Mixed between 1oz Bullion bars, 40% coins, & 90% coins. i also purchase 5gram gold bars every other month. Is there something else recommended to look into? I try to buy $75-$100 worth of silver each month, and I just store it in a wall safe for now. Does the way the metal exists matter? Bar, coin, etc? Thanka

Because silver and gold are real money, all these other currencies are fiat and printed out of thin air and will collapse
Also all this technology we use uses silver and gold, which are both finite supply, fiat beinf infinite supply.

Gold and silver outperform all stock indexes

Anon. . . this is not how that works. Lets use an example
>1 USD is worth 1 big mac
>You invest 100 USD into 10 stocks, all equally worth 10 USD
>The USD inflates, so now it requires 2 USD to purchase 1 big mac
>You are still holding 10 stocks
>The cost to acquire 10 stocks is now 200
>When you turn stocks into big macs, you can turn 10 stocks into 100 big macs
>If you had kept the fiat, you would only be able to get 50 big macs
Its the exact same concept as investing in gold or silver. Replace stocks with gold in the above example and its exactly the same.

for one look up the Comstock Lode. Its one of the largest and best mineralized areas on earth. Nevada produced 10 million ounces of silver last year, most of that as byproduct from copper mining. There are still millions of ounces of silver as well as gold left in the Comstock Lode, the only issue is its deep and hard to get at. There are also huge amounts of silver left in mine waste across the country, most old style mine mills were only 80% efficient at best, that left over silver, copper, lead and gold etc is just sitting in sand waiting to be reprocessed.

>Where can I learn more about assaying/prospecting for silver and gold?

One day at my wagecuck office job I was bored and dreaming of finding a way out, so spent all day researching this very thing. I ran across this plebbit post from a guy who found a half lb of nuggets with a metal detector.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Prospecting/comments/4782tj/half_pound_of_gold_my_best_nuggets_from_winter/

Naturally, everyone in the comments wanted to know where, but he would only say "desert southwest." I prospected this user's post history to find several hints, and a few mentions of a user on gold prospecting forum called "Bedrock Bob." Eventually, I tracked down Bedrock Bob - interesting character - and he too was reluctant too divulge locations, but I found one reply from Bob to someone asking him where he prospects:

>... I had a dream one night. I dreamed we were all angels. Bearded angels floating over the desert on gossamer wings. We were searching and seeing with eyes that allowed us to see through the ground. PI eyes that made the smallest specs sparkle and glitter in the dirt. In my dream I could see the hills and a familiar skyline. It was home. Sierra Diablo. Sierra Animas. Sierra Caballo. Sierra County. No mysteries there. The old timers found it there and that is still where it is at. The dream only tells us what we already know. All that is left is the sweat. The angels just won't do the work for us. Neither will the Boy Scouts, darn those little duffers.

The location was Sierra County, NM, specifically near the old mining town of Hillsboro. The bad news is that it's extremely difficult work, and unless you really have a knack for it you'll make more working at the Hillsboro gas station than you will digging for shiny rocks in the ground.

a lot of that course gold is angular and filled with vein material, its called reef gold, it came right from the source. Lucky dude I ve only ever seen that once at a site north of Atlin. Visible gold is great but you usually only see thin particles, its really really rare to find a solid reef like that.

A good spot to look for one though is near the ghost town of Toroda in Fairy County Washington. Look up "The Lost Golden Plate Ledge". Its one of the last true undiscovered mines in the Northwest / West Coast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFeGyPJzf2o

We could possibly just set up 2 companies and have the directors and shareholders linked via a contractual agreement, I'm not sure how decision making would go either, I think you can either get professional consultants to mediate or I've seen some professional independent directors will sit on a board for like 20 to 30k a year to show up to a few meetings and help decide on issues.

As for the geologist vetting, canada might be more strict but here you only need that if you're a public listed company or making statements to the JORC ( in canada it's NI something ) code, otherwise you can put a big disclaimer saying it's not JORC verified.

You do realize LINK is the only project in Crypto that has been in a multi-year up trend starting in the middle of the bear market.

I like BTC
I like ETH

But cmon. There is no value in LTC. The creator sold his whole stack. Not just partially. Not 1/2, not 3/4. All of it. why are you still holding litecoin.

Once you figure out where the crypto space is going then you will realize there is no other choice other then Chainlink.

We are pretty lucky here, in the goldfields there are areas that have decent access with 4wd for most of the year, up north gets blocked easy during rain season, the only problem it's hot as hell, I don't really mind as I work in it anyway, and have got a portable aircon/generator, but you have to be careful, every year a few prospectors get lost and die in the heat.

>>16704177
Well we really do need a geophysicist so we can't afford to piss you off, what sort do you specialise in? I know places where I can hire the gear and I can do the surveys myself and acquire the data, Im guessing you got the software and the big brain to interpret it all?

I really do think that once I am done working this contract I am going to start working on getting something like this together. There are hundreds of abandoned / forgotten silver properties all over western Canada, the US and Australia that we could make money off of simply by processing the tailings piles. There are old mines in the Kooteny region bordering Washington that produced 2-4 thousand ounces of silver per tonne, and tens of thousands of tonnes of ore was just abandoned when the markets tanked. It is doable and we should be the ones to do it!

We start by doing seismic to locate out depth of bed rock. Depending on the area 2D lines spaced 50-100’ would would.

Come back and scan the area with a 2 or 3D electrical resistivity imaging. This can map rock also. SuperSting R8 is a bad bitch I like to fuck wit.
