If all the Bitcoins are mined, who's going to run the blockchain if there would be no more bitcoins to mine?

>> No.16662053

Literally everyone will stop mining, and everyone's BTC becomes worthless overnight. They become worthless, because txs simply can't move. Basically, there needs to be a hard fork to remove the 21m coin limit, which of course will cause the mother of all dumps when implemented. Bitcoin is flawed from the start.

Wont be enough, back in 2017 the blocks were maxed out and tx fees were literally only 4% of a miners income. Bitcoin ironically needs to scale or it will fail. But of course the kikes have taken over core with BlockStream and suppressed any form of scaling (Rip Hal Finney never forget) and pushed their solution, Lightning which conveniently scales WITHOUT giving the TX FEES to the nodes/miners on the mainnet. Do you honestly think <<<They>>> wouldnt do anything to Bitcoin. Screencap this its going to get censored. Also Ironically our only hope is Sergey.

Tail emission doesn't mean infinite, retard.

1/2 + 1/4 + 1/8 + 1/2^n ... = 1

That... sounds great.

>> No.16663851

nobody alive today will have to worry about this issue.

>> No.16663892

if you're so worried, go check how much tx fees sum up to per block
last I checked I made a mental note it's .2-.3 BTC
I get that currently that makes barely 2% of the mining reward, but it'll make almost 5% next year, and it'll only become more significant as time goes on, of course the fees might go up, down, most likely in circules, but they're still there, and they constitute an amount.
