Target by June is to have above 100oz.
That said I will keep stacking as long as I can keep affording it. So until it reaches 100+ dollars an ounce I will keep stacking. Even then, I will maintain stacking on a limited bases occasionally selling, for livestock/goods. I have enough ammo and guns to support a fire team bit I will continue to stack ammo and guns as well. Basically my goal is to be hoarder of silver and lead.

Not in the UK if you sell Queen’s Coins. We only have VAT on silver that can be easily avoided by shopping in based Estonia.
So if you have 40 1oz british gold coins (Bought recently for about 1000£) and you sell them when it moons (let’s say 4750£ each), it’s completely tax free. No VAT, no capital gains, no nothing.

As I have owned my stack for years I will only pay half.

So for example if I make a million dollars profit the capital gain is one million times 50% times the marginal tax rate at 40%

"Normal inflation" according to the government. Actual inflation has been running much higher. Look it up. the CPI is heavily manipulated. They're always moving the goal posts so to speak. For example, the CPI calculation used to include steak, but now it's ground beef. It used to include home ownership but not it's rent. I don’t think pm’s will skyrocket like a lot of the guys on here do. I think what’s going to happen is that we will have a multi pronged approach to the money magik That controls the worlds bank’s.
Specifically, we will see a new currency issued that will trigger all the hidden usd oversees and domestically to be brought back through proper tax channels. I have mine in small safes hidden behind book cases, behind walls, in the garden shed etc. Mike maloney said the best thing to do is the hide your main stash and have a big safe in the open to distract thieves which only has a few hundred dollars in it.

Did an end of year price analysis of silver. First I started fifty years ago (Nov 1969 - Nov 2019) and listed every average closing price per year. Then I adjusted for inflation year by year and then I averaged out every adjusted average annual closing price. This resulted in a current average closing price of $15.23. In short you can use that price as a gauge on whether silver is expensive or cheap.

I am about to sleep but I can provide average prices for 25, 20, 10, 5, etc years as well.

The problem that these ratio plebs don't consider or ignore is that when the AU/AG raito starts to tighten it very well may be next to impossible to get your hands on an oz of gold.
The local dealers wont have anything and even if they do they wont sell to you unless you know them very well and have been using them for volume for years.
and the online dealers will sell out of gold quick.
there is going to be a shortage.

Silver is readily available, sell your dog to the chinese before selling your gold for more.

that's 100% true in the long-term. However, massive inflation is not carried over instantaneously to prices of assets in fiat. Countries with huge inflation rates (parts of africa, argentina, etc) are proof of this: Even when the currency gets devalued 30% in a matter of days, this eventually gets carried over to prices, but it takes a few days/weeks even months depending on the kind of good. That should give you a window to buy something if you sell and buy very quickly.
However, unless an incredible opportunity surfaced, i'd still hodl on my gold.

/biz/ should I cast more of the thicker rounds or the thinner coin sized ingots? My silver concentrates are around 95% silver and the rest is gold I cant remove without better chemicals. I ve got about an oil drums worth of concentrates from mining last fall that i am going to spend the winter smelting down.

These are sample ingots, I ve got about 1800 of them so far from different years.

My main job is prospecting for new deposits, I ll usually spend about 90% of my summer driving around the province between different properties and Vancouver dropping off samples for assey. I do a bit of small scale mining on my properties if I have time or go placer mining if there is nothing else on the table. This year sucked badly for exploration work so I spent the summer mining instead. Hopefully I can make a good return on the concentrates this time around.
