What is the returns from steaking each year? If it's 0.01% I'll need it to go higher than if it's 80%. If something like 5% I'm probably retiring at $30. Same income after taxes, just a comfy ride while we moon. Gonna buy a condo downtown. After moon I will buy a penthouse downtown and keep the condo for my mistress. She lives rent free and comfortably, but I'll probably ask for her clit as a private trophy. I want her to cut it herself as an act of submission.

Is anyone else planning on continuing to work as long as possible? Let's just say Chainlink gets to a price where I have a comfy $5MM and 5% staking gains gets be $250k a year. That's a lot of money, but why would I not want the extra cash? I'd be able to squirrel away like $350k a year that way and in 10 years have $3.5MM more safety net.

I guess if LINK hit a price where I had a passive income of like $1MM I'd retire, but otherwise there's really no amount of money below that I'd feel comfortable enough to just stop working.

My current life costs me roughly $100k annually and I imagine when I have a third kid and all kids are off in school it'll cost me closer to $200k. So it's the difference of having $50k disposable cash for myself or $800k. $50k gets me a couple of nice vacations in economy at 4 star hotels. $800k gets me generational wealth and ensures my 3 kids are forever rich.

This is kind of a meaningless question unless you’re also asking how much a person would need to make in order to retire. I’m a pre-tax millionaire around $20. Unless it’s been years and I truly can’t take it any longer, I don’t plan on selling anywhere near here.

Why bother retiring when you can own ATOM and make a fixed amount of income through binance staking?
I already make $20,000 a year on ATOM, and i have nowhere near a million dollars.

LINK is ranked 18 for marketcaps, so its already pretty big and doesnt have much room to grow.
Its very hard for a coin to pass a 2 billion marketcap
ATOM is ranked just 16, but ATOM allows you to steak on binance, so you make passive income that compounds

I can "retire" into my own business at $10-$20, need $50+ to be "well off". Retirement means different things to different people, most of us are working involuntary jobs when we would rather do something else more dear to us(and subsequently more valuable to society) but lack the circumstances/capital to go out on our own.

Most of us are millenials... Owning a car, putting a solid downpayment on a house, and having a modest income from self-employment would be "making it" for me. I really just want to do homesteading activities and make things, maybe do consulting or write(all of which are reasonably profitable, but require time you don't have as a wagecuck). What does making it mean for you anons? Another aspect of making it is being able to help my loved ones with medical issues because I'm an americuck and we are all dying young from diseases of despair and we don't have healthcare

I think they killed fifo, so you should be able to specify. I'd assume it's smarter to transfer/loan your links to a new llc/corp and pay yourself as an employee a certain fixed rate or whatever. Plus you can write off everything as business expenses, office car phone dinners etc.

Shouldn't be too hard either way to separate it out enough to show the kikes you're only using/selling the new income ones (or did you really want to pay 20% on 999.80 per link). That probably makes more sense, Im sleep deprived fuck it.
