How wise of a career move would it be to take a break from my stressful ok paying job ($25/hr) and work at a movie theater for 2 years ($11/hr)

>> No.16628355

It would most likely be unwise. What do you do and how long have you been doing it? How old are you and where in the world do you live? What’s your current net worth? These are all factors. Give us some more background anon as well as a naked picture of your girlfriend.

>> No.16628372

Well you likely don't have a "career" right now and working at a movie theatre certainly isn't a career.

So totally up to you if you can survive on $11/hr and have no ambitions then take the chill job

As long as you still make enough to live comfortably:
quality of life > money

Lol $11 an hr you’re literally homeless in California. Like not even joking you have no shelter.

Why do Californians feel the need to say shit like this?

Because my politicians don’t give a fuck so I’m just expressing my anger of this third world shithole state that will default on its debt during the next recession.

Just quit being a pussy for Christ's sake. I work 55 hours a week for $15/hr at a job that pays far too little for the responsibility I have. Whatever "stress" you have it'll pale in comparison to the new stress of trying to live off less than half your previous salary.

How do you know a movie theater job will be less stressful than your current one?

Why not find a less stressful ok paying job instead?

Let me get this straight. You want to make less money to be able to dump less money on crypto when it reaches 1k then proceeds to blast to to the moon?

Meh.
I lived on 11.50 working 7 days a week and went to school full time, in california.
It sucked but low rent made it possible for me to live in a 2br 1b apartment.
