I'm holding 100 11.5 dec 16 call options. Expecting to gain about 8k just on a 4% increase in oil.

When should I sell all my monday gains, /oil/?

>> No.1663480

>>1663472
Sell before wed fed meeting

>> No.1663549

I feel kinda dumb because 90% of my portfolio is in petroleum but I'd feel even dumber if it was any less because it's gonna double across the board before it levels out.

Petroleum will drop again when the economy crashes again because of demand, but then Ill be 90% in internet stocks, malt liquor, foreclosed properties (again) and Greenbrair and shorting General Motors (again).

>> No.1663557

I think anyone could feasibly buy at open if they're not holding over the weekend. Oil tends to run for multiple days Plenty of gains to be had.

shorting GM? I have a pretty large position in them. I imagined if they fell off at all then Berkshire Hathaway would just take them private as they already own a hefty chunk of the company.

>> No.1663564

>>1663560
GM is awful during a recession because they make poorly valued uncompetitive products, so they fall under consumer discretionary sector but they're huge and always survive and always have investors... they're like a shark, a big dumb animal too stupid know it's dying, so it's fun to short them.

I would liquidate your position with them once things get rocky. No idea when but I think soon

>> No.1663610

fuck i cant wait to monday¨and see gains
