Why do house prices keep going up in Australia despite signs we’re headed for recession. What would it take for the bubble to actually pop that hasn’t already happened over the last 20-30 years?

Markets aren't rational despite people telling you otherwise. Every house of cards will eventually collapse and barring cataclysmic failure of life, something new will come out of it. Said new thing will be born, mature and eventually rot into decadence and corruption. The cycle repeats and you will never escape it.

It's the same everywhere. They're keeping it propped up via immigration debt slaves but the diminishing returns are so bad now and social climate is so terrible that it's still going to collapse anyways. If something doesn't happen in the next two years I'll be amazed.

It can go down only transiently by the means of orchestrated dump.
Two irrefutable points :
1. It's easier to print 10000000 paper (fiat) than build a house.
2. Why the fuck would jews let you have accessible housing? If they have a chance to make you suffer, they will.

Australia's housing market is literally at the complacency stage think about it:
>Been going up in a huge bull market for 50 years
>Been going down for a bit
>Now suddenly had the biggest rise in housing prices ever and people think its bullish
>"returning to the normal climb in prices"
yeah 2020 is going to be a freefall for the housing market.

because mongs seeing that it was virtually impossible for them to afford a house saw a sub point drop in the interest rate and thought "fucking rippa, I can afford me a house" -- and by house they mean a two bedroom unit out in whoopwhoop - forgetting that a few thousand a year is not a comfortable margin of safety considering all the unexpected costs that come through life.
What it would take for the bubble to pop would be a sub-prime mortgage crises like in the States, I'm actually surprised it hasn't happened what with 4 years ago so many Chinks getting approved for loans based on forged documents of assets they had in China.

even during the 2008 crash it took a bit for prices to fall. they didn't hit the bottom until like 2012.

Your economy recedes
They kick up the prices on housing
You need a loan to pay for your housing
They give you a loan which is essentially the money they squeezed out of you and now you have to pay for your money which is the ultimate scheme.
