the funny thing is that i used to try to be a good wagie and work really hard, i got angry and burned out really fast because i didn't feel noticed. then i took a month """remote working""", and one of my friends gave me a couple tabs of LSD. I'd tripped a lot in college but had taken a while off after having too many bad trips. This one reset my whole being, I ended up shitting my brains out all night and literally purging all the poisons out of my body. Completely changed my perspective on a lot of things. When I came back to the office I had a whole new perspective on everything. Anyways, I smoke weed all day at work, microdose 3 times a week and I've gotten nothing but praises for it. My bosses love the "positive change of attitude" and gave me a raise and a bonus equivalent to 2 weeks pay. Now I'm going fully remote and just travelling across the US, touring the festival circuit and getting paid for all of it. I don't really need PTO with this lifestyle.

just completed my first year a few days ago and still have 20 of the days left. sick and vacation rolls over with no real cap on them (company will buy out up to 1 year of PTO if you retire with more than a year). figure ill sit on these days until i get a promotion and they are worth more when i cash them in. i believe i get a pretty good increase in the PTO rate (accrued) at 5, 10 and 20 years

PTO is literally untracked, I don't enter it anywhere. Just clear it with shekelberg and make sure he's cool. Took off 6 weeks this year

Very true, but luckily I work for a chill medium-sized company instead of amazon or Netflix. I make $105k and take about six weeks of vacation each year.
