Bitcoin is “old tech” at this point. You cannot look at the current BTC market and compare it with price action from years past - the space has changed.

Prior to late 2017 / early 2018, BTC Futures did not exist, leverage trading crypto was not a thing, there was no explosion of shitcoins / ETH ICO craze diluting the space.

On top of that, BTC still has major scaling issues. It is too slow and unstable to be used as a means of exchange OR a store of value. You can also buy other crypto assets with fiat now unlike before when you needed BTC.

there's more support in the 6.2k range followed by 5.5k and finally the weekly 200MA at 5k. all said and done, 5k is the absolute bottom it will hit. if you're buying spot, starting to DCA slowly now wouldn't be a bad idea.

a yearly low or high has always been set in the first 40 days of the new year in bitcoin's history. i would expect a repeat here as well. bearish until sometime in january. after that we slowly rise into the halving, correct, and then the grind upwards to new highs begins.
