Nice to see I've been vindicated on my fat green bag!

Reminder: When Big Pharma comes knocking the Green Bags start Flying.. Marketcaps mean shit if Big Pharma wants the company bad enough. What the CEO personally wants doesn't mean shit either. Long as the Board has the majority votes and shareholders give it the thumbs up then Big Pharma wins. Really though you'd have to be dumb as hell to turn down a Fat Green Bag (or two) stuffed full of Cash.

cont.
With all the good news it's important not to let the lure of the Fat Green Bag to get outta hand. Sure you'll get a Fat Bag but over doing it is just setting yourself up for despair and gloom if it doesn't come to pass. I look at it like this: If I get 45 - 50 per then hey its all good for me. If I get over 50 per then that's just extra gravy. I'm not talking about just the buyout price either but also the stock price itself. Low balling your expectations will save yourself a lot of mental pain later. Then if you exceed those expectations you can celebrate like mad.

For me AMRN is not just another stock. Some people just go "hey if I make money great, if I don't oh well" Which is fine and to be honest that's the right way to go about it. But for me, losing money on the deal was never an option cause I need all the money I can get. Long story short; I'm 36, didn't save as much as I should've during my 20's/early 30s. So now my retirement plan is kinda lacking. AMRN is a way to correct that mistake and give my retirement plan a big kick in the ass. Sure I've got a pension and a 401 and now a brokerage, etc. Both the pension and 401 are doing rather well, but still. It don't mater how good the investments are doing if your still behind as it were. All the retirement people tell you this; "by age 40 your on track for a nice retirement if you have double your salary in the bank (or invested)" Thanks to AMRN I'll hit that mark about 4 years sooner.

Flexing your salary makes you look like a cunt, dude. On /biz/ people want to make to fat stacks of cash because they think bitches will flock to them because of their lambo or job, but it doesn't automatically work that way. If you're an absolute shithead with an overinflated ego, like you are, it doesn't matter and bitches will still walk the other way, unless you are looking for absolute gold diggers.

If you date women in your own tax bracket (like most people do), you are never gonna win them over just by flexing your money. You need to stop being a faggot dude. I'm 24 and make half your salary, but I don't go around flexing on people like some fucking shithead. Money matters, but humility is far more important. Guys like you don't learn your lesson until some roastie divorces your rich ass and knocks you down to earth. Seriously learn to be humble, it's one of the most attractive in human beings.

Well the word is out now. The main corporate site displays all the good news at the top. Plus AMRN has been making the news shows this weekend.. But supposedly they're gonna settle all the patent infringement lawsuits tomorrow. Which all will be in AMRN's favor. This early FDA approval just added more weight behind those settlement talks. In other words; nothing but Profit and lots of it coming only to AMRN for 10 years. (unless a buyout happens before then). According to WSJ the annual Profit could be 3 billion a year.

I've recently got some extra money to put into stonks, which is what I've been waiting for some time. I was all in on a chinese meme stonk that has worked quite well but it's obviously too risky. I'm looking into diversfying a bit now.
I've already put some money on tencent which I had wanted to do for some time now and wanted to add some more """safe""" investments.
I was thinking SPY or the actual sp500 index fund. Why should I invest in one or the other? from what I gathered, spy let's you enter at lower rates, but works like a standard ETF meaning you have to pay commissions, etc. However, This would leave me some extra cash to invest in other stuff, If I have to go for the index fund itself it'd be all the cash I got left.

I'm sorry to SNSS anon for shitposting so hard about selling the stock (for like 4 generals, lol); I wanted to see if a perceived loss of confidence in the company would accelerate any (if there even is any) accumulation that may be going on right now. Sunesis's website sketches me out, some of the vocabulary on the investors side of the website is uhhh, I don't know it reminds me of when you go to a non-english website and then turn it onto "english". So I didn't put nearly as much into this as I did into AMRN, but I do want it to succeed. Clinical trials of Vecabrutinib doesn't end until December 31, 2020 (estimated at least) so it's a long hold from me homie. (December 5th saw a massive spike from .4 mil naked short volume to 3.5 mil naked short, think this was a tool to shake investor confidence and buy up panic sells; very convinced this will run up within 3-12 months)

LCI is undervalued currently and I think they're gonna go up. Will probably see a good 5 day run up for this week as long as my TA isn't full retardo mode, and I like their website, their products but I think they're another long haul hold. Now is a great time to buy, whether you're planning on selling for a +3-5% profit or holding until they naturally appreciate. Their debt slightly worries me, but a good majority of that debt is long term so it's completely manageable.

I missed playing with my money in robinhood, it was legitimately unbearable being unable to trade and invest. Maybe I'm a degenerate gambler, but it's just too fun to theorize about the world at large, the market at large and figure out whether you were right or wrong. Learning the basics of options was magical, and in the weeks to come I want to try selling covered calls and puts; but without the massive loss of money that comes from learning through experience. Still don't know nearly as much as most anons.

I'm glad this general exists.

Phase I trade agreement details are out. It's something, progress, but not much. Risk on conditions still in effect for now, I think.
>China and the US have reached an agreement on a Phase One deal in which the US will halt December tariffs and reduce the 15% tariffs to 7.5% on the September USD120bn list.
>So, the US only had to give up a small nominal rollback in tariffs apparently and a December tariff deferral in exchange for China’s commitment to purchase some form of US agricultural products totaling 40-50 billion per year over the next two years. Yes, we have a deal, but trade negotiations will continue; for now, escalation seems to be off the table. However, the path to the comprehensive agreement is still miles away.

By this I meant market will likely remain bullish on the idea that progress is being made and escalation is less likely from this point. That's a shaky assumption but I think it'll hold until something else weakens the bulls.

Where I live I get by quite good on just a shitty 27k a year salary. The col is low and the only debt is my house. I drive a decent car (2014 model), fully paid off btw. House is older but well took care off/upgrades done over the years; 3 bed, 1 and 1/2 baths, basement, garage and nice yard and rear deck. Got the house during the last market shat fest. Cheap.

heh, that fool annalist that gave AMRN the 7 price target just loaded up a shat load of shares. now why do you think a "bright" lad who said "this company sucks" bought a shat load anyway? Cause it's a big scam, he knows the stock is gonna fly so he created a bullshit thing to get the shares cheap. just so it goes, its a big scam, those who sold on the fear get to miss out on the real Profit later.

Again, unless the market shats biggly. The only way I see DIS stock falling anytime soon is if they blow earnings or some shat like that. Hell DIS @ 200 per is a very real thing. Look at netflix, its over 300 and all they do is streaming. V.S DIS that does streaming and a shit load of other things. Which begs the question why'd I sell if all everything is looking up? Simple I got time. And before march is over I'll have a shit pot full of money. (Tax Refund time). Then of course the wad from when AMRN gets bought

Come February next year I shall get a fat wad from the Govt. Some do the tax shat at the last moment. Not me, I want my fat wad as soon as I can get it. Part will go into the bank, most will go into my brokerage. T-babies shall be bought en-mass, my two funds will get a nice fat boost as well. Then when AMRN delivers the really Fat Wad the buying spree will be kicked up a notch. I think 40,000 or 80,000 will do the trick. Think of the T-babies I'll buy with it. Think of how nice and Fat both my Funds will get. Think of the big pile I'll still have in the bank in case this world just turns into a big ol shat.

To be fair, DIS has a lot of unsure things. Much of it's parks income is tied directly to consumer discretionary spending, many of their TV contracts will be cannibalized by their streaming services, and their box office grip is going to be very very hard to maintain. Hong Kong Disneyland is also in shambles. Iger stepping down pretty soon. A lot of things are changing, a lot of catalysts, and a lot of uncertainty. I think DIS is my largest holding, but there are a ton of uncertainties baked into it.

Just going by JT's comments I think the plan is go it alone. But that won't be a bad thing. Consider: Lipotor was on the market doing it's own thing for a year then it got bought for 90 a share. So yeah a quick deal after Dec would be sweet and you'd get a Fat Green Bag in the realm of $45 - $60 a pop but the longer AMRN holds out the higher the price tag becomes so the Fatter your baggie in the end. Also with all the other approval deals happening (Canada/Asia/Europe) that just ramps up the pressure on Big Pharma. After all, bad enough a small company would rake in billions here but to rake in even more overseas? Big Pharma would never allow so much insane Profit to slip by.

Who else excited for this AMRN call?

With all the good news it's important not to let the lure of the Fat Green Bag to get outta hand. Sure you'll get a Fat Bag but over doing it is just setting yourself up for despair and gloom if it doesn't come to pass. I look at it like this: If I get 45 - 50 per then hey its all good for me. If I get over 50 per then that's just extra gravy. I'm not talking about just the buyout price either but also the stock price itself. Low balling your expectations will save yourself a lot of mental pain later. Then if you exceed those expectations you can celebrate like mad.

heh, that fool annalist that gave AMRN the 7 price target just loaded up a shat load of shares. now why do you think a "bright" lad who said "this company sucks" bought a shat load anyway? Cause it's a big scam, he knows the stock is gonna fly so he created a bullshit thing to get the shares cheap. just so it goes, its a big scam, those who sold on the fear get to miss out on the real Profit later.

Started a total market position with SWTSX. Main funds are SWTSX,SWPPX and SWISX. Rest of my positions ,7, are stocks. Now it's merely waiting for the AMRN Fat Wad to be delivered into my hands so I can seed my Funds properly. Give them a nice kick start. Then add to them for 25+ years. I'm 36. It takes a huge wad to overcome lost gains during the years i missed from age 20 to now. But I won't be leaving myself in a mess savings wise either, no way. I plan to dump 25 - 28k back into the bank.

As for the 42,000, a majority of that is going into my pension. I havent saved much up to 36 for various reasons.... yeh I dont make much now... but with the fat bags coming my way I'm set for a fat retirement with fat wads...

It would not be a surprise if Big Pharma knocks very loud on AMRN's door over the weekend/all next week. With a very nice deal in place before Christmas. They know the time to buy AMRN is before they can get the ball rolling. Cause the longer AMRN goes it alone the higher that stock price will climb and thus the more Green Bags Big Pharma would have to fork out.

At any rate, the hard part is over with. Now those who're in AMRN can kick back and relax a bit. After all the outlook for the company from here on is very bright indeed. Really the only thing you gotta concern yourself with is just what the hell your gonna do with your Fat Wads when you sell the stock.

Sure you'll get a Fat Bag but over doing it is just setting yourself up for despair and gloom if it doesn't come to pass. I look at it like this: If I get 45 - 50 per then hey its all good for me. "There is value in creating in growing, and waiting to grow potential profits... ...we intend to defend our patents vigorously but grow the brand."
Buyout unlikely; but that was in regards to expanding into Europe, partnering in Europe...
...still seems like they will resist buyouts and maintain, create their brand and prove the effectiveness and gain the goodwill for their label, then consider a buyout.

This is now a long-term hold, with the risks and *extreme reward* we will see down the line.
Doctor office advertisements (medical magazines and office ads) are immediately able to show what Vacepa is.

Canada is in late-stage of approving Vacepa, which will open an entirely new market to the company.
It is ending, last question is now. If there is a profit-taking dip, I fully recommend a buy especially if fellow /smg/ lurkers and posters are looking for a low-maintenance hold.

To all AMRN fags feeling like shit right now, feeling lile you've been had, feeling like the goyest of the goys. I have a solution for you and it doesn't even involve a rope. Why are you anons wasting opportunity on outsize risk when the comfy, safety, and fat gains are all in SOXL? Face it, semiconductors are crack in all but name. The desire for newer, faster, more is insatiable. Computers, GPUs, self-driving electric cars, AI enhanced smartphones, medical devices, microcontrollers, networking gear, machine learning, surveillance, infrastructure, it's endless. It doesn't matter how many there are, how fast they are, or how efficient, the demand is for more, bigger, better, faster. What delights the most on Christmas day? A semiconducter blinken the lights.
So what is SOXL? The triple levered ETF with first class tickets to the only game in town to the tune of 42x returns over the last 7 years and 420x returns over the next decades. Do it now.
