16566593 No.16566593 [Reply] [Original]

I just purchased 32 Ethereum options with $240 strike price to expire on 27th of March. Only costs $170 with potential upside estimated up to $12,000

Use my link if you decide to secure yourself a node for when Ethereum staking goes live: 9007.5348

This is how it works

You pay $170 right now to have the right to buy 32 ETH for $240 per ETH between now and 27th of March

If Ethereum is $500 on the 14th of February 2020 my profit will be: (32*$500) - (32*240) - $170 (the price I paid for the options) = $8150

>>16566598
Negative scenario would be you lose a maximum of $170. You can always close the position if the options are becoming worth less then $170 but I dont recommend doing that. If you are not willing to lose a full $170, buy less options.

Biz hates money.

Out of the money calls are like niggers... They dont work.
Underlying goes up, vol goes down, your calls lose premium and value.
Underlying goea down, your calls loose value.

yup, you’re practically placing a bet for $170 that Ethereum staking goes live or CME lists Ethereum futures before the 27th of March with ~1:50 odds.

Youre literally risking 1 dollar to potentially gain 50 and biz continues to wonder why theyre poor
