You definitely need to study accounting but not really sure if it's worth majoring in unless you plan on being a professional accountant. Better to just go for finance or check if theres a finance and accounting programme (theyre very common nowadays).

Question because i am fucking dumb
What's the difference between 12% interest per year and 1% interest per month. My bank offers that they will give me 1% return each month if I put my wage in their account. However I already have savings in a different account (which I can't get the 1% from). I plan to put all my savings in investment and get 12% return a year + add money that's left over from my wage each month. Which is a better plan, to get that 1% and increase diversification or add my money to savings?

The 1% option compounds every month, so annual interest is higher than 12%

1.01 ^ 12 = 1.12682503013
1% per month is a effective annual rate of 12.68%, which is higher than the 12% you are currently getting.
It would somewhat believable this was real instead of some accounting exercise if banks that gave out 1% a month on deposits existed.
If it's because you're Argentinian you have all my sympathies and my recommendation for exchanging out of pesos into euros, dollars or gold.

as an accounting major in my senior year I must say, kinda

50% of the information I've learned, I will never use. But a lot of the concepts you'd find in finance are also in accounting, and you'll actually understand how to read financial statements & calculate interest rates.

Plus you'll get enough credits in economics to have a generally good idea of how the system works, especially if you're a (((Keynsian))) like me.

And the information you learn in taxes is frighteningly fucking useful, but they wait until your senior year to tell you anything about taxes. Idk if finance students get to learn about taxes either.

Don't know anything about France or french women.. but in general the quality of a partner you can find, inversely correlate with GDP per capita in the country you reside, it also inversely correlate with "sexual-freedom".
In short having a Bachelor degree in something is deemed an achievement and a woman's selfworth will reflect this.
Being able to sleep with attractive males, also boost a woman's selfworth.

In short western women, in particular northern european women, won't match with a person of "their level", as they are overly confident in themselves and believe they are worth more.

It's not perfect, but I'll be straight up with you and say that compared to the competition it's one of the best degrees around. You also get out of it what you put in. You can stop at an associates, a bachelors, a masters, or a CPA. You can find work at any level, but if you go for a higher level, you'll get more pay. Only stuff like engineering and nursing can compete.

As an accounting major, you are almost certainly going to be jealous of finance students. But remember this: You can get a finance job with an accounting degree. But people with finance degrees can't get every accounting job. You're probably going to be interested in getting an MBA with a concentration in finance, that's cool.

The amount of useless stuff they teach you is so annoying. I'd love it if they were more hands on with accounting education. My professors outright said that you will graduate with a degree and hardly even know anything about accounting; the degree just proves that you're capable of learning the stuff accountants do. Ridiculous.
